BengalszoneBilly
I got this link for Walters site from a thread1st thread started by "DesperateDerelict": from June 22nd, 2005 There's some good predictions from members here too!Seeing how accurate old Walter was from the earlier picks, I fast forwarded from there to his playoff predictions for this weekends games, and here's what he say's we can expect. To save some of our lazier members some clicks, I'll post just his comments on the Steelers at Bengals game:As you can see at 12-4 overall, he's pretty good when it comes to calling Bengals games. For that reason he's now firmly situated in my browsers favorites!
Stripes
Wow, good stuff. I love the 14 point win pick. All the pundits out there would be salivating over our Bengals if that comes to pass!
ShulaSteakhouse
I thought Levi and Robinson were probable? I want the Bengals to win badly Sunday - very badly - if nothing else so we have another week and a primetime Saturday night game next weekend. I hope this guy is on the money! walshfan
Levi practiced Wednesday and is probable as is Bryan Robinson..this may be as healthy as the team has been all year.Kuddos to Marvin for resting allot of players in that meaningless game at KC....Walter's draft position ratings are as accurate as Ive seen.. its a good website to put into your favorites for the upcoming draft and other news
BengalszoneBilly
Well after day one of the playoffs, this guy stands at 1-1. What stands out is his prediction of the Pats by 24 points, and that turned out to be too low! It does bode well for Cincinnati though. He seems to be more accurate when he picks games by larger margins, and he picks the Bengals at home by 14. I'll go with that!
derekshank
That really sounds like I hacked into his website. I have been talking about how our run defense has been underrated all season. Discounting the KC game, we only had two bad games all season. Against the Jags, and the first Steelers game. We gave up over 400 yards in these 2 games... but they are a distant memory taking place in weeks 5 and 7.He's also right that our biggest weakness is not pressuring the QB. This is why Ben had 380-something yards against us. Any and every QB given enough time can find someone open (especially when you're playing 2nd and 3rd string safeties)Ben will make his mistakes though. If there is one thing I'm confident about, it is that. We may give up a lot of points. I'm even willing to admit we might not outscore them if we play bad run defense... but we will defintely keep it close, because unless he only throws the ball 10 times, we will get a couple picks.
