Stripes
Took 'em long enough. I think Turner and Tice were the two worst coaches in the league, even worse that Capers.
San Antonio Bengal
It's not surprising that Norv Turner is out. He's been on the hot seat for a while and with a 4 - 12 record, there wasn't much chance that he would be kept. Another one bites the dust.I could see it now in my Mock Hiring... in a surprise move, the Detroit Lions trade Joey Harrington to New Orleans for Jim Haslett. And what's this? NBC has traded up to draft a coach, but they're going to switch him to the commentator position.
The_Next_Big_Thing
I'm wondering if all this Brat talk will turn into a head coaching position for him. Frankly, while I think Brat is a good (not great) offensive coordinator, I just don't see him as a head coach.Anyone think Pete Carroll might come back to the NFL? Frankly, while I think Brat is a good (not great) offensive coordinator, I just don't see him as a head coach.Anyone think Pete Carroll might come back to the NFL?Carroll wants total GM power wherever he is hired. given His spotty past in the NFL with decent franchises may make people hesitant to pull the trigger. He is right where he needs to be. Great college coach, average at best NFL coach....

Stripes
Herm Edwards to KChttp://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5221872 If that does go down as it looks it will, I'll be surprised. He came accross as the kind of coach that gets sentimental about his franchise and never wants to leave. The Jets will struggle to get back into contention without him, I bet. PMThor
I cannot keep up with this crap. I will wait until after the Bengals win the Superbowl then I will review these moves. There have been too many too fast to make any concerted effort to review the moves. Great Googily Moogily.
