Never knew how big of Aholes and dumbasses Steelers fans were till I started checking out message boards. There brutal to everyone else and even there own team if the lose. Honestly who cares. Carson is a MVP candidate and this is his first fullseason. If Carson is a bust then I really must be missing something.

Speaking of being happy am I the only one that is still happy for bengals...

Ya they lost vs a crappy team which killed their chance for #2 seed but they still have a winning record their still in the playoffs their still no more a laughing stock and still something to be feared when played...hell it may end up helping us with 1 more lost and pat win so bengals face jags instead of KC or Steelers

Exactly. I obviously would have preferred a Bengals win, but it was clear before the game that a loss wasn't going to kill us. Which probably explains why my reaction to Carson's pick at the end was, oh well.

The only reason I am mad is because of te Way they lost. They didnt give it their A or B game yesterday(Defense brought their F game). It was a major let down. But we are still in the playoffs...and I would rather play away in the playoffs cuz we have a better shot at Detriot , if we stay on the Road.

True Rover...the only reason that Pitt team won 15 games last year was because of the team he had around him, Rothliesberger didnt do jack crap. And when it came time for him to step up and do something, he choked. Palmer is going to smoke his ass stat wise for the next 10-11 years.

Ben is the bust, calling Carson a bust just makes ya look retarded

Quite frankly, calling Ben a bust makes you look retarded just the same. Congratulations yoor we todd did.

Yeah, Ben had nothing at all to do with the 15 games they won last year...I mean look at how great they did this season with Tommy Maddox at the helm. <_<

When it came time for Ben to make a game-saving completion, he did it. The only game in which he didn't perform very well was the playoff game against a superior opponent.

Calling Roethlisberger a horrible QB because he plays in a system that runs the ball more than it passes is nothing short of idiotic. If Carson was drafted by Pittsburgh and only had to throw 15-20 times a game, would that make him any less talented? The guy performs well in the role he is given.

Are you saying that Ben is surrounded by talent and Carson isn't? Carson has more talented players surrounding him in the offense than Ben does.

Yes, I agree that Palmer is the superior QB, but disrespecting Roethlisberger because of the team that he plays for renders your argumentation completely invalid.

Both of these two quarterbacks have proven on many occassions that they were great picks. Palmer has broken the franchise touchdown pass record in his second season as a starter, and is headed to the Pro Bowl. Roethlisberger has had an excellent completion percentage, even with his low number of throws, and his overall rating has been high both years in the league. He has also engineered multiple impressive two minute drills, something Palmer has still yet to master.

They are both well above average at the position, and that is what everyone expected of them as the 1st and 11th overall picks. I don't think anyone really believes that either is a bust. Anyone that says such is being a homer.

Yup -- I have been happy to label Rott as a beneficiary of the system and overrated -- until the second half of this year. He's actually been razor sharp in recent games and converting clutch 3rd/longs almost every time. Second stringers were brutal for Pitt this year too. I'm a convert, frankly. Both QB's are tremendous.

It's rather funny.

One second they're ecstatic because they think they'll play us again."We won't give you the game with turnovers this time and the real Bengals will be shown"

The next second, THEY'RE the ones that are nervous, because they think we might lose, and New England will win next week, which would send them to New England to play.
