KEV~DOG Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I didn't get the game on tv, but it looked to me like on espn that Chad didn't do any TD celbration, anyone know why or am I just way behind on something?? Quote
bengalindian Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 He said after the game that the game was too important to do a celebration. Plus, what he did was just pretend like he didn't know what to do, and then just hand it to the ref. I thought it was a fitting celebration. Quote

I am content waiting for a playoff celebration. Thanks Quote
HairOnFire Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 He did exactly what I suggested he do weeks ago, and the reaction from the game announcers was as positive as I predicted. What I didn't predict is that some of the fans in the stand would boo him. Then again they were probably the same fans who reacted negatively to the squirrel dance. Quote
PMThor Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I loved it. The Anti Dance was great. I haven't laughed harder just because you expect him to do something, then when he doesn't, well it was great. Just great. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I think it also had something to do with the crowd - you could hear a pin drop in that place. Would feel kind of silly doing such a thing if I were him in that atmosphere.Bengals' fans were loud though! Quote
Stripes Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I don't know if this was accurate, but I think Lap said it was meant as a tribute to Barry Sanders. Quote

The DET fans are in a state of confusion anyway.... Quote
CantStop85 Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Personally, I think it was because he saw how stupid Kelley Washington looked doing his dance. Quote

membengal Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 From that article, something I had NOT realized:8 of CJ's 11 catches moved the chains for first downs. That is getting it done. Quote
