Bengal fans

Most fans in Detroit were very classy and did nothing that was annoying, but others need to learn how to be good sportsmen when we win.

My wife and I saw some idiot Bengal fan get right in the face of a group of Lions fans and proceed to show he knows nothing of being a class act.

Yelling Who-Dey to celebrate is great.

Yelling Who-Dey to rub in a victory over an already humbled opponent is something I hope I never see again.

We as Long time suffering Bengals fans should remember how it feels to have idiot fans of other teams put you down because you support a losing effort.

Enjoy this time of winning and present yourself as a winner not an idiot. Let other teams fans see that we are the class act of the AFCN division.

WHO-DEY

Most Bengal fans are smart enough to know that it sucks to suck. Anyone who rubs that in is asking to get punched.

I watched the game at a sports bar, and saw at one point a Bengals fan yelling profanities, and Lions fans around him just looked disgusted. This reminds me that football is entertaining enough without beer. Alcohol turns passion into stupidity. Save the beer for baseball season...

I hate fans who run their mouths after a win. If the team youre cheering for is good enough they will show the other fans that they are on the field without your drunkass screaming about it. Don't get me wrong, I get plastered for the games, but I'm good unobnoxious drunk who can handle his s**t. It makes US look even worse to have obnoxious fans since we were the complete joke of the league for 15 years, but now that we're good for one year we can be a**h***s about it?!?....DON'T BE LIKE THE YINZERS ***damn IT!!....You stay classy, Cincinnati. I'm lando griffin?

I'll rub it in, I don't care. Half of those Lions fans were actually supporting the Bengals anyway. I think we should deserve to rub in our victories, we have sucked for 14 years, they have sucked for 6. Let us celebrate.

If the Lions have sucked for 6 years how come they have only 1 playoff win since 1957...plus how can you really rub in that victory when the Lions fans/me were all rooting for you guys to own us

Ha Derek,

If you live in Cincy you need all the beer you can get come baseball season!!!!!

It is my eternal hope that every 12 pack of Christian Moerlein I drink translates into a lower ERA. It doesn't seem to be working but I'll keep on trying!!!!!!!!!!

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

BTW, on topic....I can't stand sore winners, especially if they are Bengals "fans"....Represent the city you crap-heads!!!!!!

That's a horrible attitude to have. You hated it when it was done to you, so now you are going to do it.

I will never take a kid to a football game because of what I see. I love the Bengals, but if beer sales aren't limited, it is essentially an environment for teenagers and adults. There is violence, profanity, and idiots. Rubbing it in, puts you in the idiot category.

Well if rubbing it in makes me an idiot, well than I am proud of it! First of all by rubbing it in, I don't go around throwing beers at opposing fans daughters or trying to start a fight with there dads cuz there team lost. I rub it in, in a nice way by doing chants, like WHo Dey. I just like to tease people in saying their team sucks, its not like its that bad.

Stupid fan behavior = no beer for final MNF game at Giants Stadium...

Alcohol sales banned for Jets-Patriots MNF

Associated Press

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Fears of rowdy fans during the holiday season have led officials to ban alcohol sales at next Monday night's game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots at Giants Stadium.

Jets spokesman Ron Colangelo said the ban was put in place to protect fans.

"It's for the safety of our fans, so that they can have a comfortable environment at a time when the holiday season can get very festive," Colangelo told The Record of Bergen County for Tuesday's newspapers.

The ban comes after a sometimes violent Nov. 27 Jets-Saints game in which police made nine arrests. In one altercation during the second half, two fans were stabbed outside a men's room. In another incident, a state trooper broke his leg while trying to eject a fan who reportedly threw a beer bottle.

Earlier this year, New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority president George Zoffinger pledged to deal with the problem of drunk fans.

At the beginning of the year, a jury found the stadium beer vendor, Aramark, and a New York Giants fan liable for $135 million in damages in a case involving a 7-year-old girl who was paralyzed when the fan hit her family's car after leaving a game.

The fan had purchased six beers at halftime even though he'd already drunk so much he was slurring his words.

Hell at this point I'd be happy if they cut beer sales off at half time completely, every week. Not sure why this has become such a problem at NFL games lately, but, after the Green Bay game experience I had, I don't have a desire to go to another game this season certainly.

too many people with nothing better to do using it as an excuse to socialize, be seen, get drunk, and walk around messing with people and looking for trouble. The game seems secondary to all these people, and there's too many of them at games IMO.

I'll just watch from home and stay warm. :)

BTW - I'm not referring to you WhurUAtChad - just the more rowdy types who don't know how to act.

Arrest and punish the people that get out of line.

I'm sick and tired of people wanting to punish me and others that drink beer at games and don't cause trouble.

Hold the people that cross the line accountable for their actions-not all of us.Start cracking heads, and nailing the offenders. That will solve the problem.

Spare me the evils of alcohol sermon, and start holding the people that actually cause trouble acountable for what they do.

Not me.

I understand your point, and you're right. People should be held accountable for their actions, and the innocent shouldn't have to be punished for them. Still, losing alcohol would a small sacrifice, and if it would help to prevent these problems entirely, then I'm all for it.
