TJJackson Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Is Peter Warrick healthy right now, and still with the Seahawks? I'm not able to keep up with the Seahawks too well, but I do believe they have the 1 seed in the NFC all but locked up..... Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Warrick is an afterthought. Quote

The_Next_Big_Thing Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Impressive, he's averaging less than 1 catch per game he plays, less than 2 catches per game he STARTS, and just over 10 yards per game he plays. His longest return was 10 yards. And some of you wanted to keep him? Quote
GROIIIDayton Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 I believe he has had some knee problems for the past few weeks. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 He has faded cause of injuries after the 2003 season Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 I believe he has had some knee problems for the past few weeks.Past few what? Past few YEARS is more like it. The dude is done. He should have admitted it before he attempted to play for us last season. That was bad enough. To sign on with Seattle was a mistake. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Seattle, at least from what I've seen, has been using Warrick primarily as a downfield blocker -- a skill emphasized in Cincy --- for Alexander. The fact is that the Seahawks pass relatively infrequently (19th in the league in passing attempts) versus the run (4th in rushing attempts). Their O is built around Alexander, and everything tends to flow toward that focus. Quote
TJJackson Posted December 15, 2005 Author Report Posted December 15, 2005 To sign on with Seattle was a mistake.Err...how so?He continues to make an NFL veteran salary, far more than most of us will ever make in a year's time.He has an excellent chance at earning a conference championship ring, and ergo the solid possibility of playing in the superbowl. I think Seattle has a somewhat better shot at both (home field advantage in the weaker of the two conferences) than the Bengals do.I'd say it was an EXCELLENT move on his partIn any case, I'd love to see Seattle and the Bengals in the Supebowl Quote
Stripes Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 In any case, I'd love to see Seattle and the Bengals in the Supebowl As would I, that would make for a very interesting and non-cliche matchup. The same thing that made the Astros, White Sox series worth watching. Quote
AMC Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 And the announcers could have the Alexander-Boone County angle. And the Warrick angle. And the high-powered offense angle. I like it! Quote
jamesbrooks21 Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 I believe Seattle will be the NFC representative, but Warrick doesn't wear the stripes any longer so if we were to play them in the Super Bowl he would just be another player in those ugly ass Seahawk unis. I do appreciate what he did while he was here though. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 Hey warrick could get a super bowl ring for nothing. Thats something Willie Anderson has spent his whole career trying to get.TNBT has a point...Warrick was an idiot for even attempting to play for us last year. I doubt after this year that he will even make another team. He might have to retire and work for ESPN, just like all of the other lame, pathetic wannabe ex-football players do. Quote
