WhoDey42 Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 WOW WOW WOWWhat a great day to be a Bengals fan. Finally all the critics can kiss our a$$! We won a big game. We won it on the road. Only regret about today is that we didn't get to see Chad's celebration. But I'll trade that for a win against those idiots! WHO DEY!BTW, whats the all-time record for turnover ratio?? +24 has to be close! Quote
Stripes Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Not only have we ENSURED our first winning season in fifteen years, but we are on a torrent pace for 12-4 at least, and probably 13-3. WHO DEY!!! Quote
DontPushMe Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 This was the perfect game to break that streak in as well if you ask me. Going into Pitt, no one gave us a chance, its a beautiful thing.Ah how I loved laughing at the group of squeeler fans who bood me, the only person in a bengal jersey, when i walked into the sports bar for this game today. Columbusbengal Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Will be one of the all-time great games in Bengals' lore. This will probably be the NFL game of the week. The Bengals are starting to dominate this category - win or lose, their games are always exciting The last time the Bengals made the playoffs there was no internet and about half as many cable channels covering football (I actually think there was only ESPN, but I could be wrong). This is exactly why "small market" doesn't matter to the players as much in football (in other words, a player like Chad can become well known and get advertising opportunities everywhere without playing for a big market team). Of course, small market doesn't matter to the owners either because of shared revenue and the salary cap. I sure hope the next collective bargaining agreement doesn't ruin a good thing.By the way, remember when Paul Tagliabue came to visit Mike Brown to try to get the Bengals on track? I suspect that one reason the NFL network has been featuring the Bengals a lot is to repay Mike for listening to Paul's advice and turning the franchise around.to jerome bettis, i think we did take it away from you nowYes, I think this game probably will be the deciding one in convincing Bettis to retire. If he can't even run against the Bengals, why bother to go through the rigors of an NFL season at his age (and with his accumulated wealth). Quote
