turningpoint Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 He's leading the nfl in votes for the probowl among kickers....i find that amazing.anyways deltha oneal and chad johnson are leading in the afc, carson is #2 behind Peyton manning.anyways keep up the voting. Quote
Stripes Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Wow, that is very surprising. Everyone that is voting must just be basing it on total points scored. He has been struggling this year no doubt, but hell, I'll take it. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 I think Rackers being a Cardinal ain't helping his numbers. Quote
Stripes Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 I think Rackers being a Cardinal ain't helping his numbers. If he doesn't get in, that would be one of the biggest snubs of all time. He is more deserving of a Pro-Bowl spot than any other player at any position. Quote
jungleman Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 where are the numbers for the voting posted at? Quote

The_Next_Big_Thing Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Wow. At this rate, Chad, Carson, Shayne, and Deltha all go! Quote
buck3y3d Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Wow. At this rate, Chad, Carson, Shayne, and Deltha all go!I voted for Rackers. Greatest season ever by a kicker. Quote
Stripes Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Wow. At this rate, Chad, Carson, Shayne, and Deltha all go!I voted for Rackers. Greatest season ever by a kicker. I think he could certainly be on pace for such a season, but as of now I think that distinction has to go to Mike Vanderjact's 40/40 season in 2003. Quote
DontPushMe Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Rackers is a monster. He will be in the pro bowl this year.As for Graham getting the most votes for the AFC, thats stupid, but not as stupid as Steve Smith being behind Santana Moss in voting. Quote

I think he could certainly be on pace for such a season, but as of now I think that distinction has to go to Mike Vanderjact's 40/40 season in 2003.Well, Rackers has had fewer chip shots on average than Vanderjagt. In 2003, a total of 1 of Vanderjagt's field goals were 50+ yarders. So far this year, Rackers is 5-5 from 50+. For that matter, in 2003, Vanderjagt hit only 13 from 40+. Rackers is already at 14 from 40+.Oh, and in 2003, Vanderjagt only had 37/37 field goals for the season, not 40/40 according to Elias Stats Bureau (the official stats of the NFL). Quote
Stripes Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Oh, and in 2003, Vanderjagt only had 37/37 field goals for the season, not 40/40 according to Elias Stats Bureau (the official stats of the NFL). Yes, that is correct. I believe I was thinking of his overall streak of consecutive field goals converted. That may have even been 41. Quote

BengalSIS Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 As much as I would LOVE for Shayne to go, I do not think he should be top candidate from this seasons performance so far. Shayne is doing reasonably well, but it's not some of the other kickers fault they haven't had as many chances to score points. If Shayne picks it up and has any game winners, I think it would be ok for AFC. Rackers BETTER get it for NFC. Hands down. And Adam V better NOT get it for AFC. He hasn't deserved it this year. I think Vandy, or ...I don't know, I'll have to look, but there are other kickers having a good year. Quote
bengalindian Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Wow, I knew Rackers was doing well this year, but not as well as you said, TNBT. That's pretty darn impressive. Quote
pedroza29 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Sorry I forgot about Shayne. I guess he can blame it on the success of our offense! He doesn't get enough kicks! Quote
BengalSIS Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Sorry I forgot about Shayne. I guess he can blame it on the success of our offense! He doesn't get enough kicks!I think you misundstand me. Shayne is a leading scorer because he gets more kicks than many kickers. I'm saying there are other kickers in AFC doing well, but aren't getting attention because they don't have enough points. Quote
bengalindian Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 BengalSIS, can you tell Shayne that he needs to kick more field goals of late? He started off on fire the first few weeks, but the last couple of games, the Bengals are only scoring TDs, and its killing me in fantasy. Cute kid you got there, too. Quote
