HoosierCat Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Baltimore just lost to Chicago. Jamal had like 35 yards rushing. And Detroit beat Cleveland in another pathetic excuse for football. Cleveburg had 174 TOTAL net yard on offense. Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 23, 2005 Author Report Posted October 23, 2005 Rough week for division leaders, too.Cincy lost.Buffalo fell in Oakland.Denver choked in the final 2 mins. vs. the Giants.Dallas lost (to AFCW leaders Seattle)Outside of Seattle, only Indy and Chicago won, and they both got to play the j.v. clubs (Houston and Baltimore). NJ29 Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Is Madieu out for the year officially? Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 That is what I am hearing on the radio. He is getting surgeory I think on Monday. Quote
Benzoo Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Yeah, Madieu's done. This team's safety corps have been snake bitten the couple of years. Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 24, 2005 Author Report Posted October 24, 2005 At one point in the game Lapham passed a comment to the effect that Tab Perry was initially seen by UCLA as a safety. I don't think he played any safety there, but he's got the size and the speed and hits hard...and he isn't likely to see much action at wideout given everyone ahead of him on the depth chart.Jus a thought... Kazkal Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 With Madieu out our defense is looking bleak vs the run more so if davie is hurt and cant learn sense run D is sucking anyways Quote
Stripes Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 At least with our schedule, we know we can keep pace with the Steelers and at least keep the division race close. We have to sweep Baltimore and Cleveland to have a shot, because the Steelers probably will. Quote
RedsFan75 Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Can anyone beat Indy this year?GB, Balt, Cle, winsIndy Loss. For both Stelers and Bengals. That puts Bengals and Steelers rematch as a BIG game in PittsStill a very good season. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 If we lose to Indy, at home, after a bye week, outdoors, in late November, in cold weather, I'm selling all my Bengals gear and collectables on eBay.We should not lose this game. No way, no how. Quote

No way, no how.Wow -- way to call your shot NBT. I wish I had that kind of confidence vs. Indy. Right now they look like the team to beat. You're right though -- we haven't seen them in the weather yet, but something makes me think that improved defense (it's not the best in the league BTW as every NFL media outlet has been trying to say) may help the team a lot. If we were to win that game, it would go a long way toward redeeming some of what we have lost this week. Gotta cream the cheeseheads first! Quote
