duus
Just a suspicion, but I'm sensing a few nice runs/catches by Perry Sunday Night. Jags overpursue up the middle, and drop guys deep to cover the wide-outs, and there you go ... Perry with a dump off 10 - 15 yards downfield, and runs it for 60! I'm guessing Perry will be the option that breaks the back of the Jags Sunday Night, and then you will hear all the 'experts' talking about the various weapons and depth of the Bengals. It's coming ... you can hear it ... but when will it strike? Be afraid, be very very afraid! Bengals put the Jaguars out of their misery about 11:00 p.m. Sunday Night, and I sleep like a baby. skyline
I would like to see Perry get a bit more action this game. It seems like they are wary of youthful mistakes. It was especially noticable against Chicago. After his fumble, it was like they were afraid to go back to him. Not that I blame them... Stripes
Seems like Perry is getting big game predictions every week, but I do see your point. I don't expect the Jaguars to succeed in cutting Chad off quite like Houston did, but if they do, good times for Perry and Housh/Walter. OrangeStripes
Yea i saw the aggresive cover 2 in the game im watchin right now (on tape) but i have a feeling the jags might make a few problems in miscommunication and cause cj to go deep and i donno get the td? yea sounds about right, at least i hope so. I was wrong on that one, but for a good reason. CP to CJ on play # 2 just might be my season highlight for the 1st 1/4. It's definitely nice, however, that Perry hasn't gotten hurt yet -- he gives a nice potential outlet to CP. We've seen flashes, but not the whole package yet I believe. I am looking forward to that. bengalsrz
ive never been to big a fan of perry's but once i saw him play a little, i loved him, i dont see him having a good game today but i think he is a good player, he cant compete with rudi though
walshfan
I see Chris Henry having a monster game....2 touchdowns and over 100 yards... they wont be able to double him with chad on the other side and a safety in the box... big big game for chris...mark it down! turningpoint
I agree and disagree, cause i believe Rudi will have a large day also....mike anderson, a rb in the mold of Rudi with less skil gashed them in between the teackles for 115yds.I think rudi will shine, but Perry will come up with some big plays. I'm somewhat concerned about JAX's DTs against a dinged or rookie center.
schweinhart
The Jags DEs are going to make it tempting to go to the Lightning part of the so-called Thunder & Lightning part of the Bengals offense. Chris Perry should be able to get around either end and give himself a chance to make a 4-3 LB miss in open field to get to the 2nd level. But if he can't breach the DE contain the 1st couple times, the Bengals need to drop it because it will be too hard to make up 3 and 4 yd losses vs. Jags.If there's no Housh tonight, I like Perry for the slot WR. Either him or the other Perry. Both those guys get better separation over the middle than K-Dub or Walter. Henry in the slot may work but it's too early to risk him getting his clock cleaned over the middle IMO.

My only concern is that he hasn't shown great ball security.I think the ball security issue he's got is from backside pursuit. While he's doing his sideways dances, he lets the pursuit catch up and don't know it's there. His hands are great and I'm pretty sure he'll hold on if he gets drilled from the front. But he's lined up in the slot enough for the Jags to recognize they'll see him there. No one would see Tab Parry coming and the more I see of him, the faster and stronger he looks. I'd like to see Tab line up some in the slot too if there's no Housh.
