Roberts was waived/injured from the Bengals preseason roster on Aug. 30, and upon clearing waivers, had reverted to Cincinnati’s Reserve/Injured list to complete his rehab from an Aug. 5 knee injury. AMC Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 seems he went the way of Warrick and Ron Dugans, and alot of the other injured players, Abdullah.......produce or risk getting cut....it's hard to keep injured players around and wait for them too long...but you have Roberts vs. Brooks...they release Roberts but keep the injured Brooks last year....guess it depends on talent and roster fit as well....
