shworge Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I say we go with ChopperSikBall, a little reference to the movie Stand By Me. Plus he's always around the ball and forcing fumbles (3 so far). For short, we can just call him Chopper. Quote
turningpoint Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 kind of off topic, but was watching nfl films..and the best nickname in the nfl voted on the coaches in 2003, was chad johnson and peter warrickfor 7/11 and warrick which i never knew was called waffle house.I miss Warrcik. ;( Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 What's wrong with Odell? He doesn't need a nickname, he IS a nickname! Dude, we got Odell! Quote
BlainThePain Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I don't think he needs a nickname. I hate Thurmanator. It reminds me of the geek from American Pie that called himself the Shermanator. Thurmanator just sounds corny and lame. It sounds like something Chris Berman would come up with. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I agree Thurmanator is cliche and lame. Be more creative. Quote
Stripes Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Odellicious works well, credit to Big Orange of course. Quote

I also know a couple of people that have met him and his daughter. To me, he will forever be known as the Big Oblivious. Quote

UofLnMU Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I'd either go for TKOdell/KOdell or Thur, God of Thunder. Quote
Stripes Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Thur, God of Thunder. We have a winner!!! Quote
rizzy Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 he will always be known as TKOdell with me Quote
The Big Orange Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Thur, God of Thunder is goodThe Big O is good...but I'm partialThurmanator, not badOdelicious, sounds a little like a porn starTKOdell is okay, but seeing that our last linebacker star was Takeo, it makes more sense for himI'm not sure if it's a nickname, but it's something I'll probably yell at my next game..."Give 'em Hell, Odell!"or "What's that smell...it's Odell"or "Come our of your shell, Odell"or "I just fell, Odell!"or "I use Prell, do you Odell?"or "Watch out for that well, Odell"or "in Chicago you can ride an El, Odell"or "the word for "the" in Spanish is "El", Odell"or "the cook on "alice" is "Mel", Odellor "you are more handsome than Denzel, Odell"or "What's in your hair? Is that jell, Odell?"or "the former democratic senator from Georgia who did a Keynote address at the Republican convention's first name is "Zel", OdellWow, that's 12 minutes of my life I will never get back...but my motto is...If there is a stupid thread, I must post on it Quote
Columbusbengal Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Did anyone hear the talk show yesterday when someone suggested that the Bengals' defensive backfield should be known as the "Cat Burglers" ?? I thought that was pretty cool. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I've heard nothing on O'dell and don't really give a ratsass as long as he keeps knocking the hell out of the other team. As for the defense, all I have heard is "Brat Pack". Personally, I think that is pretty corny, but I have nothing to offer myself. I loved the SWAT team !!! Maybe just a single word nickname as opposed to a play on something already used... "HELLACIOUS" "VICIOUS" or for the Browns... "GAY"...WHODEY !!! Quote
superdrool Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Back when he was at UGA, we'd say "Dude... You're Gettin' Odelled!" when he'd light someone up.But Odell is a pretty good nickname in itself... not a lotta cats by that name runnin' around. Quote
