BengalszoneBilly
What a wonderful NFL weekend!! First Big Ben Goes down for his 1st regular season loss (about time!) at home against the Patriots once more, then punk ass Eli gets his ass handed to him in a huge win by San Diego! If there was only some way both Terrell Owens and Randy Moss could have both lost, the weekend would have been absolutely perfecto!
Stripes
The football weekend can still get even better! If the Chiefs lose in Denver, which is a very good possibility, then there will be two undefeated teams left in the AFC.The Colts and the Bengals. Just because they are both better than Chad Johnson?

bengalindian
Today, my history prof was talking about battle tactics and how the Spanish used this counter-march technique that was kind of like a defensive lineman waving his hands in front of a QB the whole time he was playing. Then he added "...insert any Cleveland QB..."

Boomer better than Bernie? I will still hold my ground on that one. I don't think it matters that much that Graham was from a different era, he is still one of the best quarterbacks of all time coached by yours truly, Paul Brown.I love knowing that Jim Brown played for us, and he doesn't make our team look bad at all, I think a lot of people would agree that he could be the best player of all time although stopping after 10 years. Man among boys he was, a man among boys!
Reimersfan88
Otto Graham was THE best ever QB for his team. I love the Bengals, but I love the stories my grandpa shared with me even more. Just imagine going to those games when the game wasn't so popular, knowing you were seeing something special. I have wished for years and years that I could go back in time to watch so many of those spectacular games that gramps talked to me about....I miss him so much. Stripes
I'd love to see some old Unitas games. So many old timers name him as the bets quarterback to ever play the game, and I'd be interested to compare him to modern greats.

It would be cool to see Otto play too. I'd also love to see Fritz Pollard. This year when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, they made him out to be an incredible rarity of a talent. I'm not saying that is false; I would just love to see some of these big names from way back when.Somehow Fritz Pollard has been mentioned in a thread about Eli Manning losing to the Chargers. I don't know whether to blame myself or just laugh in surprise.

ckj414
E. Manning 24/41 352 2 0 If this is choking, I hope Eli 'chokes' every week. I hope Carson chokes like that too.

I hope Carson chokes like that too.Okay...lemme get this straight. Eli Manning throws for a bunch of yards and his team loses the game, (hence the term CHOKE) yet you hope Carson Palmer does likewise? No you don't. At least you want him to be like the good Manning QB and throw for minimal yards, and the team still win. right?
ckj414
Tell me you didn't watch the game, right? The Giants lost the game in spite of Eli, the kid really played a very good game. You may think most of those yards came in garbage time, but they didn't. He had close to 200 yards at the half in a 21-20 game.I can see why you wouldn't like him in a personal sense, but lets be real about Eli as a player. He sure looks like he's going to be a good one.
