Dan2330
1. Fast Start- same as last two games2. Control the run- Thomas Jones will likely split time with Benson3. Crowd factor- Soldier is the real 'friendly confines' of Chicago. I have never seen so many lame fans in my life. Packers fans pump the place up when Green Bay is playing, time for us Bengals fans to do the same.Enjoy the game everyone, both Chicago Sports radio stations (ESPN 1000 and 670AM) have been talking about this game all week (more so than the White Sox choking the divison away). Look for me in the end zone, row
Spain
Just show up, they are one dimensional on the O, The D cant hold up to us all day. Thats what happens when all you can do is run you stop it they are cooked the D gets tired from all the points we will be putting up, then they have to throw, = blow out. walshfan
I think their secondary is in disarray....we'll test that quickly...Tillman is ok Azumah can be had..Brown is a hitter but a mediocre cover guy... the other safety is a rook...the d-line like to rush but are weak at the point of attack.. they wear down.. Harris is a quitter, brown is invisable sometimes and aday is hurt... Rudi can run on these guys..lots of pressure of Orton... he's rook and not a top tier one at that..nuff saidWe should win this game easy imo....third quarater KO with the bears whispering to each other on the sidelines "da-bears!......... They have a very good secondary. I hope you are not saying that simply because they have a rookie on their defense, they are weak. We have two. On the other hand, the Vikings were supposed to have the best secondary in football. I know it is only on paper, but Smoot, Winfield, Chavous, and Sharper can only be rivaled by Baltimore... so while the Bears secondary is damn good... Palmer and our receivers are better. I think we have proven that, scorching both Baltimore and the Vikings recently. The real key for the Bears is exactly what Wyoming said. They need a pass rush (as well as to knock our WR off their timing in the first 5 yards). But that will most likely require a lot of blitzing, which Palmer is very good at taking advantage of. If they can get a good pass rush, and force Palmer to make mistakes they have a chance. But with their lack of offense, it will be hard to get us to stop riding Rudi, which means they'll have to be at least somewhat conservative with their blitzing, in order to stop the run consistently. All in all, we just have too many weapons for them. They will probably look strong early on, but when their offense forces their defense to be on the filed for 2/3 of the first half, we will make them look tired. The 2nd half should be all Bengals. Take a look at his first 2 games this year and then tell me what you think of him. Aday had a minor ankle sprain, he is fine. Not sure about the quitter thing either but, it's debateable. How do you know Orton is not a top tier Rook? Just cause he was drafted in the 4th? He's only played 2 games in the NFL, and has managed pretty well considering. Take a look at his numbers. You might notice he had 100+ rating last week. Not to shabby for a low tier rook.I think you guys will be suprised how good of a game this will be on Sunday. You guys who are going to the game in Chicago might very well have a long ride home. Neither of our teams have been "top tier" for some time now. Believe me if we were 2-0 I'd be excited as well, but let's be realistic. This will be a good game. Believe it. Good luck to you guys. Hopefully both teams get out injury free.

derekshank
Neither of our teams have been "top tier" for some time now."for some time now" clearly is a past tense statement. On the ESPN rankings the Bears are still ranked in the non-"top tier" 20's. (21st to be exact). The Bengals on the other hand are ranked 7th, meaning if we are not "top tier" in the eyes of the public, it seems we are only a win in Chicago away.By the way... we shouldn't put too much emphasis on fan voting, but on the front page of ESPN.com, they have a poll as to which team will win go to 3-0 on the road. Out of 4 teams, the Bengals are ranking #1.I'll admit, you can't know too much after only 2 weeks, but what I do know is that the Bengals have impressed the pants off of nearly every football analyst, while the Bears are still in the lower half of people's minds. So enough with the "pot calling the kettle black" statements. We have the national media backing our high expectations.P.S. I listened to a few minutes of the Chicago based am station 1000, and even your Bears fans experts are expecting a loss. Win or lose this week, the Bears are not in the Bengals league. Every given Sunday... I know. That assumes that the lesser of the two teams could win... in this case, the Bears are clearly the lesser. jjakq27
1. I expect the Bengals to play a 4-4. I think there will be times when Pollack, Odell, Simmons and LJohnson will be out there out the same time. They will dare the Bears to go over the top and try to beat the Bengals that way.2. I think they will do a fair amount of play-action stuff and screens to slow down the Bears pass rush. AN occasional deep ball just to keep them honest. Alright you guys are 2-0 I congratulate you. Seriously, your team is looking VERY good. But, it's a long season. You guys deserve to win. You are due. As I've said before, I like your team and it wouldn't suprise me to see you beat us on Sunday. What I don't like is that there are few on this board that can do nothing but call the Bears and their players, "bottom tier" and adjectives of the such. It's just funny how your players can give us some respect, but the fans can't. Anyways, good luck on Sunday, and as I said, If you do beat us, I will be here to congratulate all of you including some that don't deserve it.
