Humanzee 5000
NFL Live last night was talking about how bad the patriots running game is doing right now. I know it's early, but it's making me smile. I would love it if last year was the only ring Corey got and then we went on to get a few in the time that he was still with the Pats. Granted, I understand that these aren't the Bengals that he really played for, but he wasn't far off if he could have stopped bitching and whining and throwing stuff at fans (ha ha)Anyways, I'm MUCH MUCH happier with our double threat running game noww that I ever could have been with him still around. I'll always remember the screen pass to Perry that came back for a holding play that was kinda weak anyways (DVR replay over and over)We have defenses trembling now compared to when it was Corey and Rudi, two big fat downhill guys that didn't get outside much!! derekshank
The Patriots haven't lost 2 games in a row for almost 3 years now though... which bodes well for us, since they are playing Pittsburgh. They have more to prove than the Steelers right now. I expect Dillon to have modest numbers again, because it's hard to run against Pitt, but New England won't go quietly. jjakq27
Anyone have any idea how Dillon has done against Pittsburgh in his career? I don't remember him having too many big games against the Steelers or the Ravens.I am sure NE will be jacked up since they lost last week but the Steelers are still probably stinging over last years loss in the AFC finals. Stripes
I know we all want Pittsburgh to lose this game, and we want it badly... But I think they send the Patriots home 1-2.Dillon's struggles will likely continue, and that Patriots defense has weakened against the run. Can Willie Parker and Big Ben handle the Bellichick schemes?I hope not.
Ox
I believe Leon is a good back. However after his antics his last year here, I will forever think this guy a cancer. This weeke will be one of the ONLY times I root for him and the patties. I hope NE sends Pitt home questioning if they are as good as they're billed to be. semiotter
I dont think the Pats. will be AFC champs this year. Loss of key players and coaches will take its toll on NE.

BengalszoneBilly
Isn't it strange how Dillons two TD's is what really helped vault the Bengals into 1st place all by themselves? Thanks Corey!

Who?
when CD scored his 2nd touchdown of the night did anybody else hear the announcer say "TOUCHDOWN CINCINNATI" ?????? EITHER IM HEARING THINGS OR THE BENGALS ARE ON EVERYBODIES MIND !!!He's probably used to saying it because Corey Dillon was the only player on your team basically for what, 6-7 years? bengalindian
Nice, Touchdown. I'm happy for two reasons. The Bengals are in first place all by their lonesome since who knows when, probably about 80 years ago when Billy was 10. And second, CD's on my fantasy team and combined with Shaun Alexander, I put up some amazing numbers this week. Thanks Corey, I knew you were good for something. redsbengalsbucks
I watched some of the Pats-Steelers game and Dillon looked fat and slow, kinda like Bettis, but was still trying to run around the end. If he is going to get back on track he needs to start running downhill like RUDI does. He sure is making the decision to get rid of him look good.RUDI looks like a solid back for years to come and The draft pick we got for him M. Williams has made S a strength instead of a weakness. Stripes
Another rather quiet day for Dillon. He finished against the Chargers with 14 carries for 69 yards (nice average) and a touchdown.
John Stofa
Another rather quiet day for Dillon. He finished against the Chargers with 14 carries for 69 yards (nice average) and a touchdown. Not positive, but I think it was actually 63 yards, and 29 of that came on one run. It's starting to look like Corey might be past his prime. What a shame.
