Stripes
Because most of our Brownie posters showed plenty of class after our week one game, I figured I'd return the favor for week two.Good win for you guys in Lambeu Field, maybe you guys do have a shot at a better season than expected. Trent Dilfer is among league leaders in passing yardage and quarterback rating! Why does this make me happy? You've placed the overrated Baltimore Bollers right where they belong. Last place! :player:

membengal
On top of that, perhaps some folks will care to reappraise the good work done by the Bengals to get that win in week one on the road...

Talk about whacked out, crack smokin', dumbasses that don't know their asses from a hole in the ground!!!Where are they now!?!

Talk about whacked out, crack smokin', dumbasses that don't know their asses from a hole in the ground!!!Where are they now!?! The question is why the Ravens are so bad - the defense is just as good, and Boller...well, he at least shouldn't get worse.I read somewhere that people might underestimate the effect of Jamal Lewis' prison term, in that he probably didn't have access to the kind of food one would need to maintain muscle mass, and that given his relatively short prison stretch (4 months, I believe) he might not have had access to weights. Couple that with his short camp, and I think that put him well under his usual effectiveness.I can't prove that's why, but he's looked very weak this year. He's not breaking tackles like he usually does, and he's not putting up the yards they need from him to win.Suddenly, the Bengals' schedule is looking a lot more winnable, particularly after this week (I know a lot of us had this as a close game at least before the season, if not more likely a loss).Getting this back on thread, I don't see the Browns finishing outside of 2 games behind the Ravens now. I also don't think the Browns are a bottom 3 team anymore, for sure.

Stripes
Is it possible, that despite picking up Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton, that the Ravens have regressed? It certainly looks that way, unless Jamal can get over the anal soreness mentioned above.

This is no longer the same defense. They miss Hartwell a lot. While still a top 15 defense, they will not dominate the game and score like they used to. The offense.....well, I'm one that thinks they're actually better with A. Wright, but that aint saying much. Overrated and getting worse -- I love this game! CBin2k7
Their Passing Offense might be a tad better, but they can't run the ball.
Bobcat Bengal
Yeah, you guys did pretty well this week.Crennel has this team playing hard every week, and that's all you can ask for.More than a few teams will take an 'L' if they're not careful. Who?
I think we have an explosive offense, it's just that we have absolutely no talent on our defense at all other than a few safetys.
Stripes
I think we have an explosive offense, it's just that we have absolutely no talent on our defense at all other than a few safetys. The offense has potential to be very good if you guys can nail a solid quarterback in the next draft, or if Charlie Frye can make them proud. I don't expect Dilfer's numbers to look like this all season long, they are off the charts. When you guys get Winslow back (if ever) then he, alongside Braylon Edwards and your other wideouts, hell even Heiden too, with a strong armed quarterback and Lee Suggs.....It could be dangerous.I hope, however, that none of the above ever comes to fruition. I can't help but laugh when I hear that. The announcer said that SAME EXACT thing when we played you guys, and I did the exact same thing when I heard it the first time.No disrespect, but slow down Cowboy.Your offense isn't a world-beater yet by any means. bengalindian
I think Jamal's problem is two-fold. One, he was in prison for 4 months, and missed some of training camp. Two, defenses can stack 8 in the box every play, because they know that neither of the QBs can throw worth a damn. Just like they talked about in the Bengals game about why Culpepper's struggling, Jamal can't do anything because defenses are playing for the run every play.Oh well, I'm proud of the Browns. Although, I don't know if Crennel is thinking correctly. If they win anymore games, they could lose out on Leinart.

That is a little funny, but I have to say our offense is pretty damn good no matter what you Bengal fans think. Dilfer is yet to be sacked, but I'm fearing the upcoming game against the Colts.
