I'm waiting to hear it...

Good to hear, but why wasn't Chad with them? He and Carson need better timing on the longball.

Ummm, by work on timing do you mean Chad needs to stop running so fast? :P

Seriously though, Carson really needs to throw it earlier, I think he forgot how fast Chad is. Hopefully, that's it. And hopefully, against the Vikings, we'll see Carson to Chad, and to Perry. Multiple times.

Speaking of DPM, where is he? I haven't heard anything from him in awhile, and you know what, I kinda miss him. ^_^

Rudi rushing for 126 while Perry looked very average as usual has probably made him simmer down.

When Perry actually makes a big play or has a good game he'll be back to tell us about it.

Or maybe he is starting to realize Rudi could become the best Bengals' RB ever.

In fact, I felt so bad for him I sent him dead flowers.

That was very nice of you, Hair...

I hear that's all he eats. Which makes for a nice complectian but stained teeth.

My last post was a little over a day ago. You cant of missed me too much in one day. :P

But if my dissapearance for a day had anything to do with the game last sunday, it probly would of happened sunday or monday, rather than wednesday. Wouldnt you think?

I tried spelling complxtion thrice and was so far off each time the spell check didn't know how they Hell to help me. I think the guy running the spell check machine is a Browns fan.

Rudi was his typical dominant self, no doubt, but I wouldn't say Perry was "very average as usual". First of all, how can you say "as usual" when the guy was playing a game 100% healthy for the first time in his brief NFL career? And secondly, if catching 5 passes is considered "very average" I can't wait to see what he can do when he's playing above average.

I don't see why some have to root for either Rudi or Perry, instead of rooting for both. We have the makings of another Ickey Woods/James Brooks type of backfield. What's not to love?

WHO DEY!

Chad was doing the 700 WLW radio show with Andy Furman. It gives him a chance to talk - which he has a penchant for doing - but I think I would rather see him out there with Carson and Chris!

I have to chuckle when I read this. Rudi and Perry are not going to be on the field at the same time very often. I think that most people have forgotten that Ickey was a fullback.

Rudi and Perry don't have to be in on the field together 99% of the time to form another Brooks/Woods type of tandem. Call Woods a "fullback" if you like, but in the one full season he played with the Bengals he carried the ball over 200 times and averaged over 5 ypc. He was not the "blocking only" kind of fullback the Bengals have had lately. Rudi and Perry will both touch the ball a lot in this offense; plenty enough to potentially be able to form a dangerous duo similar to what we had with Woods and Brooks. The first game of the season was proof of that.

This should be a nice test for Perry. The Viking interior defense looks stronger than their edge defenders, and nothing slows down a pass rush like screen passing.

The screen pass outside to Perry, Rudi, or JJ ought to go for a couple 20+ yd gainers Sunday.

The Vikes outside LBs look like the least of their strength on D and should be beaten on screens and swings.

Perry has an excellent chance to showcase his pass catching talent and speed after the catch w/ a hitch down the sideline for a real long gain.

Thanks for actually noticing that despite not being used to catch a pass much last year, Rudi AND Jeremi Johnson can BOTH catch the ball too.

Rudi can definitely run an outside screen w/ a lot of success....provided his body is half turned upfield. Ask him to catch an interior screen w/ his back to the defense and they're asking for trouble...ala TKO knocking him outta the way and returning the INT for a TD.

I'm hoping the extra work between CP and Perry does have something to do w/ a hitch in the flats, especially to the strongside because Perry is better suited speedwise to bust that play for the distance than either Rudi or JJ. I remember how well that play worked for the Clowns with Lee Suggs last year vs. Bengals, only a hitch wasn't even necessary w/ Hardy out there.

He's in mourning.

After a long illness his credibility finally died.

Don't laugh, I hear he's taking it pretty hard.

Poor Pushy. :(

Are you sure he's not justed holed up downtown in a cheap, seedy, roach infested hotel room with his Corey Dillon blow up love doll. You know...the special edition heavy duty model with anatomically correct inflation valve in the front? I heard he's been bouncin' around on that for days like it was a "Hippity-Hop" kids toy!
