So Bengals fans...

 Someone definitely must have slipped something psychedelic into my coffee, because I think read that Buffalo fan Willis just referred to us as "Bengal Fans." Seeing things that can't be true is a sure sign I'm trippin' hard on some pure LSD! :) The rest of the work day should be a real adventure! Hey boss! Need a volunteer to run heavy equipment today?

WHOA!...the colors and trailsssssssss.

And yes, we will swarm the week of our game...

Just don't come dressed like you were last year.

Even if the Bengals do run, the Vikes D gave up a big one to caddy last week.... I don't know if Rudi can go the distance like Caddy, but what about Perry?

Has he been gettiing any touches....whats the plan for him?

The plan for Perry is to disguise what the plan is for Perry. Against the clowns, Perry got some carries from halfback, caught a couple of passes and, for the most part, was kept completely in check. Brat apparently does not want to put him in only on 3rd down because he doesn't want to telegraph the play. While this kept the clowns honest, Perry simply was unable to shake enough tackles to get big yards. I think they will essentially do the same thing with him again this week, but that he will end up with more receptions. The Vikes secondary is for real and the checkdown should get a lot more play. Perry had a stellar preseason -- looked real quick, had good moves and broke a lot of tackles in the flat. I look (hope) for a lot of that YAC from him on Sunday.

what crap?  Hes been a leader on and off the feild.

No crap as of yet. If Losman struggles and loses some games, expect him to whine.

;) Check out Spikes' interview on NFL.com.

" No primetime games " ....... " No Monday nite games " ........ " No national exposure here in Buffalo"

Starting to sound familiar ?????????? B) It was like deja vu all over again.

Wait till they go to Foxboro and everybody is yelling " Takeo We Love you " ... " We need you here "

Give him about another year, and when Bills fans are getting Takeo'd they'll be bustin his ass just like they did Bledsoes.

B) Speaking of Bledsoe ... he had a pretty good game ... didn't he ? Amazing what an offensive line that actually blocks can do for you isn't it ???????

Oh man...the Bills game isn't even close to being played, and with the attitude level this rising I can see this thread is making the big U-turn and beginning to head to "Le Forum de Smack." <_<

CHILL!

Damn Black Jesus. You're pic's aren't exactly what I'd call non-imflammatory! They remind me of someone else's around here.

Apparently I'm in the minority, but I'd go under. Most games that are billed as shootouts rarely end up that way. defenses gameplan to keep a shootout from happening. The shootouts are usually the ones you don't expect, because the defenses are gameplaning for something else.

While 47.5 points isn't exactly a shootout, I'd still say under. Minnesota does not have a strong running game, and despite what everyone thinks about him, Burleson has not done it as a #1 before. He's not used to being double covered. He's not Peerless Price, but he's not Randy Moss either.

We will be able to contain their offense reasonably, keeping them from scoring TD's on every drive. In so doing, we will be able to establish the run, which is what our O-line is designed to do.

If we get into a shootout, I expect to lose the game, because their secondary is very very good. Since I expect to win this game, I fully expect a much lower scoring game than most, with the Bengals controlling the clock on the ground so that Culpepper has less time to beat us.

While I think we could win a shootout, I have to agree with the bulk of your thoughts. With Minny's o-line issues, I expect our front seven will be able to get penetration and disrupt plays; I think their biggest problem will be keeping Culpepper from making plays with his feet. OTOH, the have a good secondary and some run-stuffers on the line, so I could see the Bengal offense struggling. I can very easily see a low-scoring, field-position-type game (cue shanked Larson punt here ).
