walzav29
I don't get it. I believe the Bengals\Browns game was the only one that didn't have highlights shown on it. Screeeeeew them! As for the game, if we lose we'll be 1-1 just like last year. Gotta win.

rmcna86394
Is it just me, or maybe my distorted perception, but over the years whenever we do get in a highlight reel it is usually the bengals getting scored on, ran over, or hit. Just an observation.....
bengalindian
You know what though? They will HAVE to show the playoff and Super Bowl highlights this year, so the Bengals will get their spotlight.
cincyhokie
That used to be one of the best NFL shows on TV. Before ESPN took the spotlight Inside the NFL with Len Dawson and Nick Bonnacotti was THE show. Now it's just a highlight reel. Seriously, if you can't plan to show ALL the NFL games, what kind of show are you trying to project?Joke.
bengalboomer7
Well, when ESPn showed their highlights the Browns got more airtime. Talking about Crennel, showing the Browns big play, and even showing more of the Browns plays than ours. Hell, when they announced the game, all they talked about was Crennel and the Browns, Marving wasn't even introduced at the beginning of the game!!Taht's OK, though. It will make it that much sweeter when they are FORCED to respect us :player:
turningpoint
meh boomer it was crennel's 1st game, he's gooing to get more cover because of that.

BengalByTheBay
Anybody notice that Prime Time is also going to crap? That show used to be the only one on Sunday where you could check out each game in at least a little detail. Sunday's show was pitiful. they spent half the show on the Saints game. Yeah, that was a feel good moment, but football fans check the show to see what happened across all games -- not to see the national news. I stopped my HBO because Inside the NFL was really starting to suck (that and no more Sopranos). Again, it looked like they're spending all their time on stupid features and giving Peter King waaaayyyy too much time. Now it looks like Prime Time is going that same route. I always just tolerated fake boomer (Jackson is decent), but it was mainly so I could check out what happened in the games I didn't watch. What are they trying to court women viewers, NASCAR fans, WTF???
HairOnFire
Relax. They opened up with a five minute fawn-fest over Marino being inducted into the HOF, and then gave Peter King a huge block of time to cover the Saints, Katrina, etc. Neither of these things will be repeated in coming weeks. Be happy that 3 out of the 4 talking heads picked the Bengals over the Vikes, and that they finally found a funny comedian to close the show. Lewis Black's bit was freaking hilarious. markymark69
The reasons listed above are the reasons why I do not watch those shows. I watch WLWT for highlights, Sports Rock which will be extensive Bengals coverage during the season and Bengals feedback. I watch Bengals video and the other WKRC TV's stuff on the internet. That gives me plenty on the Orange and Black.
Green 66
I just love how the sports media went GA GA over Crennel just because he used to coach with the Patriots. Heck the guy on ESPN even predicted a Browns win because of it, totally ignoring how bad Cleveland is and how good Cincinnati showed they were. I just love the bias shown and bandwagon jumping these guys do to the "IN" team. I guess its time for the Bengals to force themselves onto the highlight reels by out playing everyone this year which I believe is perfectly possible. I think the offensive unit is still the best part of the franchise. The Defense however, is underrated lots of young talent there. When the Defense starts to win games for Cincinnati it will take away the biggest criticism of the pundits, "their offense is good, but what of the defense".Mike GreenWaynesville Ohio

Stripes
We will get plenty of airtime when we go into Jacksonville at 4-0 for the primetime game. That will make up for any unfairness. :player:
