NEW Bengals Website

I often find myself distracted by bells and whistles, and have been known to stare blankly at shiny things for hours. In fact, this is exactly why I once said that the heavily grapic laden posts of BlackJesus have resulted in me having a series of tiny strokes. And in regards to the posts found on this very message board my first reaction to the more sizzle packed offerings is to mutter softly under my breath..."Stop it. Don't do that for me. Simple words and the occasional picture of a boob are all I require."

And I feel the same way about the most official dot com. (Eat more chili.)

Guess you've got to be a computer nerd...and that, I most admittedly am.  B)

I'm right there with ya bro. One of the things that's driven me crazy is how it appears that they've hardcoded the positions of the pop-up menus so that they pop-up at an absolute location rather than relative to the position of the of header. If you scroll up a little and mouseover, you get this lovely gap between the menu and menu header. I guess some people like "features" like this...

I find it amusing that you're driven crazy by something I've never considered before, and still don't care a lick about now that I've been made aware of it.

Amen.

You know what else drives me insane? Why in the world didn't they center it?!?!?!? It looks fine on an ancient 800x600, I guess, but if you use any higher resolution the entire site is shoved to the left side of the page, and they fill the right side with that hideous repeating pattern.

Argh! <_<

No worries. There are quite a few things that tick you off that we don't care a lick about either. :P

The new site does look good. It looks like someone actually "designed" it. I could do without the "Meet the Bengals" flash on the main page... but wow, this is a big improvement over the previous pages.

Those of you who don't care about looks, I see your content still there! The articles are still displayed on the main page and not hidden under flash. See, an upgrade doesn't have to flashify everything...

Same as always, www.bengals.com.  Your browser may have the page cached and is showing you the old version.  Make sure to refresh and if that doesn't work, I 'd try cleaning out your local cache.

Yeah I all ready cleaned out my cache and everything it still looks the same as it always has. interesting...

I bet they switched servers. If that's the case it may not look any different until your DNS propagates (is that the correct terminology?).

Basically, it could take some time...it depends on your own ISP.
