HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Our starters can do to Indy's scrubs what Philly's starters did to our starters. Yipee. Perhaps they should try to lose. Then you and DPM could talk all week about people having their heads in the sand. Quote
membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Can we give Ohalete a starting spot now? Quote

kingwilly Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Rudi could not have made that run that Perry broke off on his cut-back.Guys, not to take ANYTHING away from Rudi but I'm starting to realize that Perry is going to be a big-time player.Oh, and also, this is thwe Indy 3rd teamers, many of whom may take your order at Denny's next week. skyline Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 One thing we CAN take from this game so far is two solid Larson punts. One for 48 yards, and the next one inside the 20.Of course, I can't watch the game, so someone tell me if there's anything the stats aren't telling me there... Quote
staticx682000 Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Larson knows his but is on the line,he better step it up... Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Listening to Lapham give the commentary, I'm jonesing to see the game after the news! Quote

If it's Indy's 3rd string then why were you so impressed with Perry's run? Simple hard cut, run untouched towards the sideline, start showing off at the 5 yard line, strutted for the cameras in the endzone. Plenty to like, and I certainly did just that, but if you're so unimpressed with the level of competition how can you be selectively impressed? Quote

That's a plus. Yup, tackling, catching, blocking. Nice to see they can still do those things, regardless of who it is against. Now, need to clear out of this game with no one else getting hurt (besides Ghuicac apparently), let Bramlet and Krenzel have their little duel, and get ready for Cleveland.Oh, and talk ML into starting Ohalete with Madieu... DontPushMe Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 What you are missing completely HoF is that RJ simply doesnt have the speed or agility that Chris Perry has, a lot of the moves Perry puts on defenders are moves that RJ is not capable of doing. Thats not an opinion, its a fact. Now, I will admit that Perry doesnt seem to have the power, and at this point the experience that RJ has. Like ive said, im fair and unbias. Quote

Yeah, that's what I've always liked about you. Then again you can't even spell unbiased so you're probably not that familiar with the concept. Here's what you're missing completely. We don't have to choose. If Perry can make a harder cut that Rudi then it's just as true to say that he couldn't have made Rudi's power run featuring the spin move from the 1st quarter. Perry, until he gains strength would have gone down upon first contact. Sheesh, are we really going to go into the regular season breaking down individual plays so that we can say this guy couldn't do that and that guy can't do this? Let it go. Quote
