Stripes
WOW.The only explanation I can find is that maybe some rookie free agent named Peter Warrick is doing well in the preseason, but that's just not likely enough to consider.More likely is that John Clayton has finally given in to his physical "crack-pot" appearance, and abandoned all football knowlege he holds dear. He's always had those 5 strands of hair sticking vertical in the breeze on his Sportscenter appearances, perhaps someone cut them off? If so, I can imagine that having the same effect on his psyche as a tribal Chinaman losing his ponytail...Or maybe Billy did some flashy editing and threw Warrick's name where a true Raven once lay? Kidding of course, I have no idea how that mistake could possibly happen.
B24
Looks like he just had P-Dub on the brain. He was talking about the defense when he mentions him. The defense is deeper with the addition of Warrick? If so why did the Bengals cut him?
Stripes
If so why did the Bengals cut him? Well, they played him at his natural postion, defensive tackle, and he was already slotted to start and make noise every week... Then Corey Simon came along, and the Bengals got excited, and dropped Warrick immediately. Warrick is now making great money catching balls in Seattle and making tackles in Baltimore, while Simon defects to Indy. We are left in a stunned silence as John Clayton puts it all in perspective. BengalszoneBilly
Or maybe Billy did some flashy editing and threw Warrick's name where a true Raven once lay? Nope. All I did was trim the edges off so it would fit the forum page. That's it!Go see for yourself! Looks like he just had P-Dub on the brain. He must have. He mentioned him in a previous comment. Heh, I was kidding, it'd take way too much work to mess with that.I wonder what went through Homer of NY's mind... He posts a valid question, and is fortunate enough to actually receive an answer, only to discover that answer to be completely unhelpful and disheartening. Or maybe he believed what he read, who knows.
