TJJackson Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Rohan Davey, once the heir apparent to Tom Brady, has been cut loose in New England.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/foot...s.ap/index.htmlI think he'd make an excellent #3 now and a solidly good 2 when Kitna's contract runs out. AMC Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 NE did some scouting on Cassell...that's why they win SBs....Seen Davey alot in the SEC and he has skills, but wondering if the mental part of the game is a bit much??? Quote
Irish Bengal Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 I have a feeling he may end up in Miami ! Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2005 Author Report Posted August 29, 2005 Yep, he could very well start in Miami......hadn't thought about that. Plus he'd get to face his former employers twice a year, that too might be appealing....Buffalo might also be interested, now that I think about it..... Quote
LABengalsFan09 Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 http://forums.bengalszone.com/index.php?sh...ost&p=87884Exactly... Nick Saban anyone? Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2005 Author Report Posted August 29, 2005 I admit that we have bigger needs, but from my point of view, you should still look at every opportunity to improve your team.... Quote
redsfan2 Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Pats have a knack for cutting guys loose that don't come back and bite them in the ass. Ask Buffalo. If they jettisoned this guy ... you can bet there was a really good reason why. Quote

Don't know about that, but he did well at times against the Bengals. He could compete for a back-up spot somewhere right now I'd think. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 I have a feeling he may end up in Miami ! Funny you should mention Miami. I saw a note earlier today that Saban is considering a "platoon" strategy at QB with Feeley and Frerotte. Hmmmm...team on the rocks, Frerotte signed in FA, coach decides a multi-headed hyrda at QB is possible, one of the heads is Gus... haven't we seen this movie before??? Quote

Kit...err...Feeley, now all you need to do is haul in Davey to fill the "Akili Smith" role and the Fins are well on their way to a 2-win season! Quote

bengalindian Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 Speaking of teams destined to be at the bottom of the NFL....how bout Chicago? Quote
jamesbrooks21 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 For sure, Davey is going to end up in a Miami Dolphin uniform. I kinda like Bramlet anyways........ Quote

Your mother could be starting for Miami with as bad as their choices are right now. Bramlet would be a starter there.... Quote
