Stripes Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 This should be interesting.....Post number 300!Movin' on up Quote
turningpoint Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 not really due to that fact that the browns suck, the ravens have a dumbf**k at qg, and the steelers don't have staley, and right now an injured old bus taking the load. Quote
Stripes Posted August 27, 2005 Author Report Posted August 27, 2005 it's preseason it means crap, A short post that sums up my entire intent in starting this thread. Good work. Quote
Humanzee 5000 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I was concerned after watching the game tonight. But it's kinda like almost getting into an accident and hitting another car head on. One just makes your heart skip a few beats, the other costs you big time. I only rely on the hope that these are the equivalent to our 1-4 last year. We're getting the kinks out, our players stresses are turning into harder work. And Lewis being the genius that he is is hiding blitz schemes and offensive plays up his sleeve.Lewis didn't really look that concerned on the sidelines and we've all seen him in furious mode. Quote
BengalNation1281 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 This preseason is going pretty much the same way that the last preseason did, and I wasn't worried then, so I have no reason to be worried now.Our secondary could be playing a little better, and the offense is still finding its rhythm, but it will all get worked out before we get to Cleveland. Quote
Bengal Steve Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 not in the slightest like has been mentioned above its preseason have a little faith peopleque..... Bax and Spian ....... Uk Bengaloops now where is that spellcheck button again !!! Quote
Stripes Posted August 27, 2005 Author Report Posted August 27, 2005 Heh, I knew I'd get at least one vote on the T.O. jersey. Bax maybe? Or Spain? Now to see if i can have any takers on the ever popular "other" category... Quote
JungleFanatic Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I voted not at all...although to be honest it was a toss up between that and better than before. While the game was painful to watch at times, seeing our rooks and backups improving was the silver lining for me(Thurman,Pollack and Walter ect).Losing the game most certainly sucks, but even if we would have won, it's still just a preseason game :player: WHO-DEY :player: Quote
Kazkal Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 We beat the superbowl champs 31-3 last seasonI rather no repeat of our 8-8 seasonColts are doing horrible preseason you think their fans are freaking out screaming the sun is falling? Quote
bengalskyspy Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 The sky is not falling but I would rather that our offense looked sharp like Philly, instead of bumbling like the Bengals. Quote
Spain Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 These guys lookmlike s**te, if you want to rationalize then ratinalize! NEs scrubs stomped us, then Philly made this team look like children compared to men! While i think they will catch on , it will be too late again! The real ? was why the f**k Marvin cut down camp! Is this the problem! Quote
CantStop85 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 The real ? was why the f**k Marvin cut down camp! Is this the problem! Fresh legs, fast start...in theory. Quote

Is this the problem! Spain, you must relax. All will be well in Bengals world soon enough. Once this vanilla offense crap is done and were playing a real game, perhaps Brat won't suck so much, and we'll be able to run an offense that isn't scripted before the game even starts. Quote
Spain Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 no practise , slow start is what it looks like! Quote
davejames88 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 practice? I was pissed about camp being cut down as well because I live in G-town. I think they still practice in Cincy everyday. Hows is New England doing with camp and having a full training camp? It comes down to the Bengals being soft! Quote
HairOnFire Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Spain, you must relax. All will be well in Bengals world soon enough. Yeah, just relax Spain. Write a post about how Perry has already won the starting RB job. Cheer yourself up. Quote
Bobcat Bengal Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 lol @ the number of new members that have joined since the Eagles game to piss bitch and moan about how horrible we've been playing. Quote
Spain Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 The only hope that we have is that the bengals didnt want to show too much of there O and The eagles actually ran a a game plan. Quote
semiotter Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 If you win all your pre-season games what do you get??????????If you lose all your pre-season games what do ya get????? Nothing because it dont mean S**t. So I dont see why you are getting so worked up over nothing. In last nights game SPAIN you were acting like it was the SUPER BOWL. Good gosh I can wait to see how ya act when it really counts!!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 BTW I voted worse, and I surfaced here long before the Bengals had their 1st 8-8 season. In other words I've seen this s**t before. Quote

HoosierCat Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I went with the "little worse than before" option. Against my better judgement, I had been leaning toward 10-6 but last night yanked me right back to me 8-8 projection. Preseason struggles, a series of nagging injuries (willie's knee, levi's knee, madieu's back, yadda, yadda, yadda), didn't we see this movie last year? Right now, this team has all the hallmarks of one destined to start slow... Quote
