'Bout time. Site says the deal could hit $13 million total, no other details.

EDIT: a bit more from hoobson:

David Pollack and the Bengals ended their 19-day stalemate Wednesday when he signed a five-year deal that can be worth up to $13 million, one of his agents said. IMG, the office of Pollack's agents, reported the guaranteed money as $7.65 million.

Pollack is the greatest defensive player and human being that ever put on the stripes! Super Bowl!

Mark Curnutte just told 1360homer that Pollack better get ready to be ridden on by the coaches harder than Odell has been. "Yes drill sergeant sir!"

Semper Fi should feel free to chime in along with Hunley and Marvin should he feel so inclined

I was wondering if someone with lots of creative talent (Black Jesus?) could create a signature or layout with the "fantastic four" and then have game shots of Simmons, Landon, Odell, and Pollack in it.... with maybe a tagline of "it's clobbering time!!!" :player:

I wonder who gave in, Bengals or Pollack/agents

1360 is making it sound like the bengals gave in a little on it because he is making more than the 16th pick.

The guaranteed amount, which is the important number, fits between Travis Johnson's $7.77 million and Erasmus James' $7.5 million. I'm sure the $13 million includes about $3 million he makes only if both he annd the team hit lots of bells and whistles (I think James' can go as high as $12 million if hits all the incentive and escalator targets). It's a slotted deal.

There are not enough threads on this. I think I will start another one.

Edit: This makes less sense now that the mods have merged the ESPN annoncement thread. Good job mods, much appreciated you all winding all this chatter into one place.
