HoosierCat
FWIW, watching the tail end of the espn pregame show before the hall of fame game tonite, TJ and Jaws were asked which rookie would have the biggest impact...Now this is tonite. Holdout & all that. TJ's answer?David Pollack...
rizzy
Yeah I was watching that also when he said that DP would have the biggest impact. I am sure he will too either he is signed tomorrow or 2 weeks from now.
LABengalsFan09
Erasmus James' agent has said they have agreed to terms with the Vikingsaccording to the AP wireHopefully this helps facilitate Pollack's negotiations....
membengal
Obviously Pollack is behind in his preparation, but it has nothing to do with Landon doing well. Landon just happens to be very good and very versatile. As other people have said (and I have said elsewhere), Landon is Simmons' eventual replacement, he just happens to be useful in other places in the meantime. So Landon will split time with the rookies until they're 100%, then he'll start taking playing time away from Simmons. So even though they don't play the same position, Pollack is losing playing time to Simmons, not to Landon. If things go as ML hopes, Brian Simmons, very soon, will be our fourth best LB and will be re-negotiating his contract to stay on the team. But if you'd prefer, Spain, we could just cut Pollack and continue to pay Simmons' back-loaded contract. Why bother puting the best team possible on the field? Standing ovation from me for this post andy...spot on analysis.

jjakq27
Pay cut?if he's not starting he'll make less money That's not how first-round signings work. I know. I was just making a point that since he is no longer a starter, does that diminish his value and/or contract?
