The_Next_Big_Thing
You mean the fact that it's an old style jersey?
The Big Orange
An old jersey with a new player...what a scam artist. Oh, I'm sorry, was that you Billy? My bad.
The_Next_Big_Thing
I logged in and asked him "Is that a current jersey?" I'm curious to see what he says, since we KNOW it's an old Big Duddy jersey with Pollack's name sown on the back.
LABengalsFan09
It also has the new style font for the numbers a sopposed to the style that was originally used for those jerseys.... whoopsey!!!!!
Sox
I was debating wether or not to contact the high bidder and let him know.I hate scam artists.
rob_justdmb
It's not a scam because there is a picture. If they claimed it was something that it isn't, that's a scam. If the person is staring right at the picture and doesn't realize it's an old, that's their problem in my opinion.

HoosierCat
I don't know that I'd call it a scam. If you want an "old style" uniform with Pollack's name on it (maybe because you don't like the new unis, which some people don't) you could order it from the nfl here:http://www.nflshop.com/nfl/index.jsp?pageI...e&sellable=trueOf course, at nearly $300 I'd pass... If it was a Wilkinson jersey there wouldn't be new numbers on it.

Well who says it's not new? Koch's probably has a s**tload of old brand new blank jerseys. As soon as the new ones came out, that rendered their blanks useless because no one wanted them. Section 310
I am still looking for the 1970's style jersey...cannot find it anywhere. Kochs does not carry them.
Sox
I don't know.It just seems to me that something that has to be at least a year old is not "brand new".
OICanDoThat
Accorindg to the top right hand corner of Bengals.com, they are selling new style Pollack jerseys for a mere 75 bucks at the Bengals pro shop. Seems like whoever buys this jersey is getting ripped off.

There are things that sit on a sheft or in a store for more than a year, that when you buy them they are brand new.
CTBengalsFan
Nowhere is he claiming it's authentic so it's not a scam, but damn anyone who buys that is stupid. You can buy blank old style jerseys for cheap so I'm sure that's what they did and they're just trying to cash in on stupid people (and when it looks that bad, whoever buys it deserves it)

KYBENGALFAN
I wrote the webmaster at Bengals.com and asked if the jersey on E-Bay is legit or a copyright infringement. Scam or not. Just wanted to know if the E-Bay jersey in the old Bengals jersey style would be a David Pollack alternate jersey. LOL. WHO DEY !!

Kazkal
Well it's like buying a movie you get it for cheaper because it's not the same thing you'd buy from a store most of the time.they probbley make the jerseys their selfs and sell em. KYBENGALFAN
WHO DEY.. ONE QUESTION.. DO YA'LL THINK #99 JERSEYS WILL OUTNUMBER THE OTHER BENGALS' UNI'S IN THE STANDS AT PBS THIS FALL?? I know there are a lot of Rudi (32) and Chad (85) and Carson (9) fans out there. But with the hype behind David Pollack, I know I"m gonna wear my 99 with pride, I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion is...
