NewsFlash About Kellen Winslow jr

Recommended Posts

I don 't get why people are happy about this.

How would you feel if chad johnson or Palmer got hurt on opening day then was out the whiole season?

Perhaps it's because Kellen deserves what he got for being a total dumbass? Perhaps it's because "The Chosen One" or should I say "The Soldier" thought he was invulnerable even AFTER he missed last season and acted like an ass and is now paying for it?

With luck, maybe he'll learn this time and won't end up winning a Darwin Award next season.

There it is.

I'm not happy about the injury but I lost any sympathy I might have had after learning how and why Winslow was injured. Didn't help any to read where his contract had specifically warned against riding a motorcyle in nine different places.....never mind how stupidly the bike was ridden.

If I was running the Browns I'd demand at least 4.6 million bucks of his signing bonus back, and I wouldn't care a bit how Winslow felt about it, either.

Well, Bengals fans have kind of come this way before with Kijana, so, we understand. It's just that Winslow is a colossal dumbass and an irritant and it just feels like some sort of odd just desserts.

Well out of Kellen,Big ben & carson atleast we do have the smartest o_O,

If not the smartest, he's the one with the most common sense, and the one that knows how to honor a contract to the letter! We're lucky to have him.

I read about this on nfl.com, seems Winslow and his buddies had ridden 50 miles to see a motorcycle stunt team perform prior to his accident.

Hmmmmmm, anyone think Winslow missed the part where they tell everyone"not to try this at home, we're professionals"??

Are you serious? Nine different places!?! They'd be crazy not to take back a major wad of cash from that guy! I gotta go see how this lead ballon is going over at the "Dawg Pound." :o

B) I don't know the name of "Wookies" avatar, but I do have the full size pic. She is offically "Boobiemiester Approved!" It's too big to post here, and it would be a shame to shrink it. PM me with your home e-mail address and she shall be yours!

You'd think athletes would learn from Jay Williams.

His career is basically wrecked (pun intended) after a gruesome motorcycle accident.

Man, Palmer says all the right things doesn't he?

I'm glad we have him as our QB.

I guess I have a different take. On the one hand, I am glad that the Browns will not have a key player they were counting on, but on the other hand, I wanted to see him play, and don't want to hear any excuses from Browns fans.

I am happy that guys like Onterrio Smith aren't going to play this year. Idiots who get tested positive for pot deserve to sit out. But having suffered an ACL injury myself, I have a hard time being happy about someone getting hurt, even if it was because of a stupid decision. That doesn't mean I have a whole lot of sympathy for that person, but I can't sit back an laugh about it... call me a humanitarian.

Memo from the "adding insult to injury" department...

CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Browns tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. will be charged with disregarding safety in the motorcycle crash that put his 2005 season in jeopardy, police said.

Police in suburban Westlake will issue a citation Friday afternoon, Lt. Ray Arcuri said. The charge carries a maximum fine of $150 with no jail time.
