Kirkendall
First, Travis Henry. This is pretty much old news, but thought we could keep a running tab on average at best players (Droughns) skipping camp because they don't have to worry about the electric bill -- think Henry has digital cable, or standard tier? I'm guessing he could down-grade soon (i.e no one wants him, and the teams that did drafted that position). Apr. 28 - The Buffalo News reports that Henry has reiterated his intention to skip Buffalo's upcoming minicamp and pursue trade opportunities, although several of those fell by the wayside when the Bills were unable to get anything done before or during the draft.Bills GM Tom Donahoe told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle the team will continue to work on trade scenarios. "We're still optimistic," Donahoe said. "We tried hard and it didn't work, but that doesn't mean it won't. ... There are still a lot of options that are open."According to multiple reports, the Eagles remain a possibility, even after drafting Louisiana Tech's Ryan Moats in the third round.Javon WalkerApr. 28 - Javon Walker was a no-show at Packers minicamp on Wednesday, perhaps indicating that the wide receiver's going to hold out until he gets a new contract, The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports. The mandatory portion of camp begins Friday. Walker hired agent Drew Rosenhaus in February.Add more here.
BengalNation1281
Did anyone see Rosenhaus when he was on "The Best Damn Sports Show" a couple of weeks ago? That guy looks freakin' slimy! If the devil were to come to Earth in human form, I have a feeling that he would look like Vince McMahon or Drew Rosenhaus.I hope that Chad doesn't let him fill his head with all of his nonsense...but Chad seems to be hip to the game, and actually likes where he's at and what he's making. It's nice that we don't have to worry about player holdouts. isn't it?
AGrizzlyBaer
man i think espn said he had 11 potential hold outs... crazy stuff
HoosierCat
I was scrolling through kffl yesterday and saw notes that Terrell Owens, Brian Westbrook, and Corey Simon are all sitting out of Eagles minicamps right now... After weeks of getting banged up in the local press, Giants TE Jeremy Shockey finally made a brief appearance at Giants' Stadium, but has declined pleas by Eli Manning to come up from Miami (where's he allegedly been working out this offseason) and build some rapor. In fact, after one such plea, Shockey basically responded, via the media, that Eli should STFU... That's all I remember off the top of my head... ArmyBengal
When I leave Fort Sam Houston and probably get deployed next year, I'll see how holding out for a bigger paycheck would work in the Army... "Sure I'll deploy, but I want to make a whole dollar a day instead of .50 if I'm going to be shot at." Come to think of it, I'm not thinking that will go over to well. I'll just take my a$$ on !!! These guys are a$$holes. Players and agents alike. They remind me of my f**king divorce attorney... Won't do s**t unless they get paid. Anyway, have a good one !!!WHODEY !!! The Anchorage Asshats..... Maybe if these guys aren't happy playing a sport for better than a six figure salary, in front of (for the most part) adoring fans and hero-like status, they could be part of a Military draft to go fight for their Country for a paycheck. I agree, asshats !!! WHODEY !!!
