Rudi is going to be the runningback, like it or not. Perry wasn't cause we didnt see anything of him, just him injurying hisself. Suck it up, por favor. Rudi is the runningback. He's not the biggest, fastest, or most agile or flashy back, but he'll wear your defense down and give you the tough yards when needed, and occassionally break a long one. He fumbles infrequently and hardly ever gets hurt, a true workhorse. I would argue last year was even a down year for him due to the # of top 10 defenses they faced, he didn't look as sharp to me at times and I think he was over-used.He needs someone to spell him more often and he will take over games in the 2nd half like he did in '03.I just don't know what people think they're going to get that's better than the #6 leading rusher in the NFL and the Bengals' season rushing record holder.When you have to face Baltimore and Pittsburgh's defense 4 times a year, you better have a solid, proven back that can overcome an average o-line and make his own yards.Perry will struggle behind this line as a rusher because there are hardly any gaping holes for him to hit or cut back to. That's why I like Rudi here, great balance, lower body strength and natural ability that can make defenders look foolish.You just don't run across guys often with the natural ability and competitive drive Rudi has, you can't coach those things.
