Section 310
Kiper discussed him this morning and said he thoughthe should be a 4th rounder. He loves the athleticism, but questioned his pass catching ability. I think someonewill grab him in round 2.
membengal
http://proxy.espn.go.com/nfl/draft05/colum...hris&id=2025109Mortensen would take him #1 it sounds like...I would love to see us make a trade where we get an additional 2nd or 3rd rounder and use it to pick him up. That size and speed would be great to have on the field along with CJ. Thanks for the heads up. I have been bullish on Jones (see the Jones thread elsewhere) for awhile now, and nothing there changes my opinion on him.

Whur CHad At?
from hobson on Jones:But where do they play him? He’s never played tight end and he’s a lean guy who doesn’t look to be all that physical, so you’ll have to teach him how to block. Hey, you’ll have to teach him how to do everything. That’s what a projection is. A project. Maybe if they had a couple of extra second-day picks later in the draft that they could groom like last year (Matthias Askew, Stacy Andrews), but they don’t. And Jones will most likely go in the third round because of his speed. My point excatly. The Kid has no expiernece playing tight end. You don't draft "projects" when you don't have extra picks.
