Bengals win it 17-10 despite a little scare at the end. Palmer had an exceptional game going 24/39 217 yards 1 TD 2 INT. Rudi finished with 102 yards on 31 carries. TJ Housh had 7 catches for 59 yards, and CJ pulled in 6 catches for 89 yards.

The defense played a pretty good game until the 4th quarter where they got a bit tired. They forced thhe Skins to make a QB change by putting Ramsey in for Brunell. Bengals defense combined for 5 sacks and 3 INT's, in today's victory.

I am very impressed with how we've played the last 3 or 4 games, and hope it keeps up as we head back home to face the best team in the league...

Good game guys. It was an ugly game, but at least we got Brunell out of there. So a lot of us are taking solace in that. Marvin Lewis is on the right track. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Thanks ArmchairRedskinsFanofWashingt....dude! You're a good sport. How did Brunell get in there in the first place!?! Sheesh! No contest. One produces points, and the other throws for negative yardage. Hmmm...tough choice here! I'm sure there was probably a little more to it than that, but as this is the extent of my contact to anything Redskins, I wasn't aware of it.

As far as Marvin having us on the right track, some here were beginning to have our doubts, but this win on the road surely erases many of those! Good luck to Washington too. Can we trouble you by asking if you could possibly knock off Pittsburg when you play them in a couple weeks. Not that I think we'll catch them this season, but it would look better in the standings for Cincy if you did.

 Yeah, we'll do our best to knock off the Steelers, but I can't hardly promise you anything. Those guys are on fire. Probably the best team in the league right now.

Brunell has been sucking for a while now. It was only a matter of time. The change happened too late as far as a lot of us are concerned, but at least if we don't make the playoffs (which would take some sort of miracle at this point) we'll see how Ramsey does in Gibbs' offense.

I wouldn't be so sure about needing a miracle. 8-8 may very well end up getting you a wild card in the NFC, and may win some divisions. Unfortunately not the one you share with Philly though! The Bengals have a game coming up with them, so if your 'Skin's DO knock off the Steelers, we'll see what we can do for Washington come our game with Philly. That's the best we can offer!

I really didnt see a point in switching Burnell to Ramsey. I think the 'Skins should just kept him in there. But, during the game the fans kept cheering "Ramsey"

I was at the game. Me and my friend was the only Bengals fans there. I never was called a SOB so many times in my life. Anyways, good game Bengals. They really roasted that pig.

If Ramsey would have had a week to work with the first team and started this game, I think the Skins may well have won. Our secondary ought to have had about 10 picks, but didn't seem to want to catch the ball, and I can't believe that Patrick would have been as erratic and confused had he had time as the No. 1 guy. Of course, the Skins o-line did little to help him...so it probably would have been a close game still in the end. But really, the Game Goat award has to go to Gibbs for sticking with Brunell.

Good luck the rest of the way. BTW, my wife's a Giants fan and absolutely loathes the "Foreskins"...so feel free to slap the Jints around in early December! Of course, that's gonna make the day after Xmas REAL interesting around my house... ;)
