YES! ABSOLUTELY YES! GET THAT NO-TALENT PIECE OF CRAP ON THE BENCH! HE CAN'T TAKE US OUT OF GAMES WHEN HE SITS ON THE BENCH!

I'm sick of this "rebuilding year" crap, we didn't need a rebuilding year, we looked to be doing pretty good with the way that things were, but instead we get to lose and let Palmer learn how to play football. If it were one bad game I would be okay with that, two I can get used to, but he has taken us out of THREE CLOSE GAMES with poor decisions and turnovers. Yes, every quarterback has problems their rookie year, but take into account that Palmer had a year to learn the offense while he sat behind Kitna and it doesn't seem to be doing any good.

So Jon Kitna, Casey Bramlet, I don't care who gets the nod, but get Palmer out of there! I would like to see a win on a Sunday afternoon sometime this season!

Obviously BengalNation1281 gets to follow the games on the internet. Carson looks like a top flight young talented QB when he doesn't have 3 guys draped over him, which is basically 75% of the game. If Bobbie Williams and Co. could pick up a blitz or even stop a 4 man rush once in a while we would all be treated to more games like the one versus Denver. Watch the games dude, with any resemblance of a pocket Palmer makes great things happen. And one more thing the Int. he threw yesterday that you may be stewing over was a result of Haynesworth hitting his arm when he threw! If you want to go postal over the fumble at the end, yes it was a mistake. But I do remember Kitna taking a sack at the end of a half killing a key drive in the finale versus cleveland last season! Watch the game, and understand before you sound like a misinformed fool.

:player: Do not bench our future :player:

Uhm, as much as I hate to say it, the Browns have a HUGE fan following....I'd say about top 5 in the league....those f**kers are everywhere.... <_<

What's the point of benching Palmer? You make it seem like we're going to be playing in the post-season....might as well let him turn the ball over on some more critical two minute drills.

Curnette: benching Palmer would be "ridiculous."

http://bengals.enquirer.com/2004/11/02/ben1a.html

money quote:

Besides, what guarantee is there Kitna would do any better than Palmer right now with an offensive line that resembles a colander and a running game that is deteriorating? Then there's the matter of Peter Warrick, the most valuable player on the team's offense.

Take Warrick's 79 receptions away from Kitna and 2003 and what do you have? A 7-9 team? 6-10? See how Kitna would do on third down without Warrick. And put Kitna opposite the 2004 Bengals run defense, which is last in the NFL and keeps giving up career days to individual running backs, and see how Kitna would play from behind.

Enough already, put Kitna behind the horrible play of our D-line and our SH***Y run-D and what do you think is going to happen ?? Still thinking ?? Think back to the end of last season when we were in playoff contention and what happened ?? Is it coming back to you all yet ?? Kitna's best is 8-8, move on, get over it. Palmer is the better of the two. Palmer has to play and when we shore up the lines, IT'S OVER !! Don't mean to sound homerish, however, this team is going to be there in the next few years. Oh yeah Bramlett is the answer to our problems, get real !!! DON'T MINDF**K PALMER by benching him, we regress 10-fold with him on the bench. Hey while we are at it, release the LB's who aren't producing because there is no FATA$$ in the middle taking the heat off of them to be able to use the speed they were drafted for. Unreal !!! Have a good day !!

WHODEY !!!
