JPW
That was pretty ugly, did any of you hear your DE's status? I hope he's okay.. He is a DT and he is Out for the Year. They need to make that kind of block illegal even on the Line. From what I gather it is illegal anywhere else on the field.... membengal
Par for the course for the Denver O-line, those sons of bitches play right up to the dirty line and often cross it.Langston Moore really played well in Tony's absence.Marvin mentioned it was about to Askew's time in the post-game press conference. I am looking forward to seeing him play.
vettespd20
Dirty play. It was a play that he was allowed to make but it was not needed. There is a thing called Football player to Football player respect and he did not show it and he tried to cover it up saying sorry
UCANTBEATOURJOHNSONS
I hate to say it, but the injury to Williams might be a good thing, if Moore and Askew get more playing time and show why they were drafted....
jditty47
ya might be a good thing indeed. but that block was bs...it wasnt from him face to face, it was from the side, he should be suspended.
BengalszoneBilly
I saw the play and then several shots Fosters face as they attended to the injured Bengals lineman, placed him on a gurney, and haul Williams from the field. As bad as the replay looked, I honestly do not think he intentionally tried to hurt Williams. He went over and spoke to him before he went into the Bengals locker room. You could tell he was genuinely concerned for Williams with his facial expressions, and his pacing on the sidelines, always glancing towards our player laying on the field.IMO, just another unfortunate accidental injury the Bengals can add to their extensive list.On the other side of the coin...how good did it feel to see Warrick back in action? whatwhatwhat
Do you think Shannahan coaches that chop block directly or does he have the local JV coaches come by and do it. Too bad for Tony "T-Bone Crusher" Williams. That was pretty cheap...reminiscent of Sapp about killing that OT
Jam31
Denver Broncos - Home of the Legal Yet Cowardly Chop BlockSorry about Williams fellas
ShulaSteakhouse
Whenever Warrick's name was mentioned over the PA tonight the crowd cheered noticeably. Williams' is the Bengals best interior d-lineman, sadly enough. I hope Moore/Askew can step up. Askew has great potential.

TippCityRick
They went to great strides last night to mention that the block was legal but unnecessary. I hold out hope that Foster will be fined for this, but I doubt he will be. He should be suspended. I don't think he intentionally hurt Tony, but during the play he had a choice to block him high or low. He went low and it was totally unnecessary. The play wasn't even in the area. Man, I love and hate this game at the same time.
LastFanStanding
Foster needs suspended...I don't care if the tackle was legal...He knew what he was doing was wrong!CHEAPSHOT
belmontbengal
I am sure he feels bad, but I say SUSPEND HIS BUTT! Tony did NOT deserve that. And Terry, I agree with you, I do think Thornton is better. Still hurts though. Langston really stepped up tho and seemed to move the line pretty well! We shall see. BengalBobNC
Foster needs suspended...I don't care if the tackle was legal...He knew what he was doing was wrong!CHEAPSHOTAbsolutely a gross cheapshot! He could've engaged him high and CLEAN and kept him out of the play he wasn't going to be a factor in anyway. Teams have complained since Shanahan has been the Broncos coach about their cheapshots.I think the NFL needs to review crap plays like that and levy real fines and suspensions. That a**hole took a player out for the year. It was no accident, he didn't accidentally rol up on his leg, he went low on purpose. It was obvious. He should be suspended for as long as Williams is out. And the Broncos should have to pick up the tab, his salary, his repair and rehab. Everything. Then see if the Broncos still endorse that kind of play.No offense to their fans, or the hard and clean playing Broncos, but that was a disgrace caught on National TV. I hope the league does something about it.
Bengal_Smoov
T-Bone Crusher deserved better than to be cheap shotted like that. Tell me how it is illegal to touch a wr after 5 yrds, but you can ruin a players season and maybe his career by a cheap shot, and it is legal. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The competition committee needs to do something about those illegal cutblocks, there is no need for it, it goes against the spirit of the game. Justin Smith played inspired football for his boy, who is done for the season. Cutblocking is dirty, cheap football that no place in the game at any level. It should be banned and taken out of the game. Think of all the other touchy b.s. penalities that are called, but cutblocks are legal, it doesn't make sense.
