kingwilly
Could this be the end for Warrick?I've mentioned that I think he is worse off than they let on but, WTF? How bad is his shin? Or is it his shin at all? What a bummer, Warrick is our 3rd down dude.

BengalszoneBilly
he is having it xrayed today we should know tomorrow They're only now getting around to X-raying it!?! WTF!! Who's the team doctor!?! Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies!?! What have they been doing up until now? Rubbing some magic backwoods possum fat salve on it? You would think with the money invested in any NFL player on your team would dictate you take such precautions early on your two legged investment! Unbelievable. I went back and looked at the news archives on Bengals.com, and coach Lewis kept listing him as probable .... but then of course not playing him. Has anybody else heard what has taken so long in getting aroung to this ?????????

Man that possum salve is some potent stuff. One thing people forget is that guys aren't gonna be totally forthcoming about their injuries if they think they might go on the IR or miss extended time. They are competitors and P-Dub wants to be out on the field and his team needs him on the field.
kingwilly
This situation sounds like Bulls**t. X-rays this late? Why is this kind of unprofessionalism creeping back in...smells like a Brown is around to me!
HoosierCat
If it's a fracture as opposed to a clean break, it may not be immediately evident. I twisted up my ankle badly once, but I could still walk on it although it hurt. I figured I'd just stay off it as much as possible and it would heal up. Well, a week or so goes by and it isn't getting any better, so I finally go in for an x-ray and it turned out I had a hairline fracture. So they made sure everything was in the right place, wrapped my ankle in 10 lbs. of ace bandage and put me on crutches.Still, I have to agree, they should have take pictures just to be safe. BengalBax
He's done, and sdadly this will kill any chance of a high scoring offense we might of had this year. Get ready to go back to run the ball 60 times a game like the 2000 seAson. Yuuuuck
TippCityRick
Um, Bax, I would be in favor of running the ball more. In fact most of the posts I've read on this site lately have been in favor of more running of the ball. Yeah, we lose a lot with PW out but this has become a rebuilding season anyway. I have said from preseason that his injury apperared worse than reported cuz he's in a contract season and isn't playing. Guys playing for their money play hurt if they can. They'll also be just fine W/O Pete.Housh has taken up receptions. He's had a couple of nice games. He just needs to close his f**king yap and play the f**king game. No way he's in any kind of league with CJ.And it's kind of funny that Housh was that cocky in that interview.

ShulaSteakhouse
Housh is no Warrick but he's a solid back-up, nice to have. I'd hate to have to depend on him all year. Washington needs to step up or they need to get him more involved, it's a crime he hasn't been thrown to more - same with the TE's.I think Palmer's locking in on TJ too much, I think he's had more time to throw to him than any other WR since he's been here, and needs to spread it around like he did early on.It's easy to say "run the ball more" (hear that every year) but they are above the league average in rush attempts, as the article on Bungals.com pointed out. Simply put, they miss Warrick's big plays.

I also dont agree about the TE, they have to block to try to protect CP & I seen a Quite a few drops when they was thrown the ball ! I think they signed & brought up Russell not only because they must like him but to light a fire under KW butt !! I agree he needs to step it up, he's been very disappointing so far! Yes we do miss P-dub GO BENGALS !!! Jonboat
