I just read some stuff about Bauer and the tribe.  He supposedly knew the trade was in the works when he threw that ball over the center field wall in KC.  

He was pissed, wanted to stay with Cleveland.  But by refusing to sign an extension, and by announcing he’d be only signing one year contracts from now on, the accepted wisdom is that he has doomed himself to an itinerant existence, signed by a contender every year then shipped off at the deadline if the team isn’t doing great.  

He’s a really bright guy, I think he was an engineering major at UCLA.  You guys are in for a fun ride.  He’ll shoot his mouth off.

I think Puig's reputation for poor effort was always overstated and based on a couple of incidents that got blown up in the big LA market.  He was a firecracker for the Reds, and I suspect he will do the same in Cleveland.

Bauer takes a giant crap in his first game.  Sorry guys.

There’s the Bauer you’ll know and love.  3 hits over 7 innings and 11 Ks.  Owned the Cubs, who were actually pretty hot coming in.

Last night, Michael Lorenzon got the win as a pitcher, hit a HR, and played another position (CF).

He's the second player in MLB history to do this.  

The other is Babe Freaking Ruth.
