I suppose you could argue it's too much for a guy who was "meh" last season but LB is such a train wreck right now I don't think they had a choice. So good move by the FO.

Glad he's back, but want him to backup the new OLB we get either through free agency or the draft.

Yeah, but he got cut last year. Those other guys didn't and still have a year left on their rookie deals. Reportedly they do have a one-year offer on the table for him (probably vet min) but as of now he is a FA.
