ArmyBengal
And there's another one. Cobi is a worse option than Little ??I didn't realize things were so tough.
HoosierCat
Bengals still have 1 spot open on the active roster. LB is everybody's guess, we'll see if TreeMan has the right one...

HoosierCat
Thanks for the tip. You'll understand I take all Internet message board rumors with several large grains of salt. Johnson is an interesting idea. No idea what he's been up to in KC besides getting hurt but coming out he reads like a poor man's Maualuga: run stuffer who lacks speed and is best suited for a 3-4. I guess we will see.
Treeman88
You should take them all with a grain of salt -- I understand completely. I happen to have a connection there and I can tell you one thing about Nico -- you will not find a guy with higher character. The guy works his tail off and will be an asset wherever he is needed. Situation in KC was odd -- they keep bringing in guys who played in other places for the coaches -- not just at LB but all over. Nico led them in tackles in preseason -- performed well every time he was called on. Excited to see what he can do in Cincy.

TJJackson
Very happy to hear Cobi is back.I am guessing (hoping? praying?) after the brief fling with the Eagles that he takes this second time around a little more seriously and sleeps with his arms wrapped around juggs machine every nightand no, that wasn't a crude euphemism for something out of a BillyBroome signature/avatar - I meant that literally. The guy needs to get his hands up to nfl caliber.....everything else needed for success is seemingly there

gregcook68
Has anyone heard who the coaches are leaning to for the LB squad on Sunday?Assuming it would be too early to play Nico Johnson.Assuming it will be Burfict, V. Rey, and (Flowers, DiManche, Mays)???Anything definite on Twitter? Nothing on the website yet.

This probably means that Murphy is nothing more than a guy that is good enough to fill the PS roster. For whatever reason, he can't stick with a 52 man roster. I hope he's a stud, as I do with all of the Bengals midseason finds. I'm just doubtful that this isn't anything more than a "move".

ArmyBengal
I'm not claiming Murphy is the "solution", only acknowledging that I had him on my mock draft and thought he could help. Now that Eifert and Smith are in the situation they are, the Bengals have Hewitt who was an undrafted free agent. There's no reason to think Murphy wouldn't get a look see. Bringing in others is also good in my book.
