I know neither we nor the Bengals should be talking about the Patriots yet, but......

Marvin Lewis and QB Andy Dalton — twin tomato cans ripe for the kicking

Dave Clark??? I thought he was the drummer for the Dave Clark 5? Didn't know he was also a journalist!

Either way, he's most likely another yahoo who hasn't played one snap of organized football! :bag:

Yadda, yadda, yadda! :rolleyes:/>/>/> :sleep1:/>/>/>

Don't forget that the only reason why we beat them earlier is because it rained. WTF ever.

In all honesty it would be an upset if we were to beat them in Boston. To me they are the standard to judge all others. But I welcome the challenge and believe they can win there too.

Unless the bengals use it to fire themselves up....uhm not this week.....next week

Why not both? Just another opportunity to play the "no respect" card.

It's funny, I was glancing through the San Diego U-T site and saw a story about how the Chargers relish the underdog role. But aside from the actual point spread I'm not seeing much press about how the Bengals are going to roll SD. Rather, it's all stuff like this, about how Andy is a bum and the Bengals aren't legit. No one believes.

Another one for the locker room wall.

Dalton hasn't earned himself much playoff respect yet due to his miserable performances in that situation so far.

He may be able to get away with throwing multiple INT's at home, but in a road playoff game he is dead meat if he plays that way and everyone knows it.

IF he plays like he did at Pittsburgh last time around, and they don't have major ST's or Defensive gaffes, again on the road, they can beat anybody.

Whether this team goes to the SuperBowl or not is on Dalton's shoulders, he can be the reason they lose, or not, it's really that simple with this team, who are good enough to beat anyone in the NFL this year, home or on the road, and I really believe that, even with all of the injuries.

It's on his shoulders as far as the blame goes, but all anyone can ask from him is that he does his job and does not turn the ball over.

All 3 elements need to do well, offense, defense, and special teams.

Defense wins ball games in football.

With Huber out, in a close game, a loss could come down to something as simple as a bad punt.

Hence the cutting of Powell, and signing of Mesko.
