Let's recall Leon Hall's trial by fire v the Jets, getting smoked over and over.....the 2's/3's looked out of sorts. Fatigue, nerves, stress, all showed up tonight. Played "tight". The first team did a great job in the first quarter despite the turnover. Things went south when the backups started to rotate in, but the depth has still shown significantly more good than bad this month. Moving on... Brandon Thompson.If there were concerns about losing Fat Pat, last nights game from him was a relief.He was disruptive and in the backfield the majority of the time.He was making plays and looked very solid.The fumble by Jones and the INT by Dalton were just ugly.Concerning enough to make me question the season ??Nope, just ugly. HoosierCat Posted August 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2013 Odds and ends...Not happy Whit was out again.Kirkpatrick, as noted, was terrible.Mays is a lost cause, when will coaches get that?Newman is ageless in Zim's system.Still not impressed by Still.Geno is like Godzilla: king of the monsters.Sanu is the two.Gresham looks much improved.BJGE looks even slower than last season.Bernard, on the other hand, picks up more yards even up the gut.Good to see Green back and not missing a beat.
