cHaD711Johnson Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 I saw AJ was back today as well and couldn't help but wonder about something. When he got hurt, we were told it was a bruise, bone bruise, whatever. They also said he should be back in a few/several days. This was 3 weeks since he got hurt.I had no issues leaving him at home against the Falcons and have no issue resting him further if need be.However, i'm left to wonder if it was more than they were saying.Whatever, I just want him healthy.I think it was more about not putting your franchise player at risk if there's no reason to. He's in great shape and there's plenty of preseason left. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 15, 2013 Author Report Posted August 15, 2013 And that's a wrap. Camp officially closes with a final practice capped off by a great catch by Green. Whit also worked today. Its a great time for Williams or Mays to shine, im rooting for Williams, but I have liked what Iloka has done.Anybody know whats up with MJ and why he is hurt, I must have missed that? Im also wondering if they are holding Dunlap out just to hold him out, I cant imagine his concussion was that serious, but who knows. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 15, 2013 Author Report Posted August 15, 2013 Concussions can be tricky so who knows. Haven't heard what's up with MJ, have to think it would be news if it were serious. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 If Mays were on any other team that had safeties worth a sh*t, he would be cut.If he's playing anything more than on teams, this defense will have a weakness when he's on the field. He just isn't a good football player. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 16, 2013 Author Report Posted August 16, 2013 Re MJ, Hoard posted a piece today on da site that said he has a sore back and that his absence from practice is precautionary. FWIW. Quote

FWIW.That's fine with me, sounds like a lot of guys will be out Saturday, so a lot of young guys get to shine. I would rather them rest guys now and go into the season as healthy as they can. Quote
Kazkal Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Sounds good some vets will get to rest since marvin wanted see how some of young guys do vs higher quality guys Quote
