skyline Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I'm surprised nobody wants to discuss this. Did I miss it in another thread?I think it's a very smart, move, actually. It's not that Mike Zimmer has ever needed motivation to do his job well, but he's got to be feeling a bit let down after being shafted for a head coaching spot once again. I think working with his son will re-energize him.Not to mention that Adam has the credentials after coaching on the Saints staff during their Super Bowl win. Solid move all around... Quote
HoosierCat Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Linky.I agree, solid move, though I'm sure it will be dismissed in some corners as just another example of the Bengals' nepotistic ways.Always good to see the Bengals bolstering the coaching staff. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I can't say as I know enough about him either way around, but if you guys think it's good, i'm good. Quote
Sea Ray Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 It's a nice bone to throw to Mike Zimmer for a job well done Quote
COB Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 With this face, I would expect he'd be coaching special teams. Quote
COB Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 He's got a pretty good resume. He's qualified. Quote
