BengalszoneBilly
Wrap your heads around this, The Ravens have defeated Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in consecutive weeks. Not something that is very common.
ArmyBengal
Army must really hate today lol ;)/>YES. Things went about as poorly as I could hope for.As much as I love football, I seriously don't think I will be watching the Super Bowl this year.Nothing about this game makes me want to watch it. Nothing. Oh well, such is life.Good luck to whatever team you guys are rooting for. For those placing bets, I hope you win !!!Wake me when free agency gets here... kevnz
Army ain't the only one. This is a Super Bowl where I want both teams too lose. Preferably by double digits. There is no good ending in this.

cincyhokie
If the Ravens win the Super Bowl with Ray Lewis, Matt Birk, and possibly Ed Reed retiring they'll be spent emotionally. They have to sign Flacco. That lets another defensive star leave in Krueger. Emotionally peaked, missing a ton of their defensive anchors plus their center? It would definately make 2013 the year the Bengals could take a huge step. Of course we've said that many times before! If the Niners win, the Steeler fans can't use 6 SB's as their trademark anymore. I like that option too. This might be the best matchup we could have hoped for.I'm pulling for the Ravens all the way.

BengalByTheBay
They're all just players wearing a different uniform. That said ANYBODY BUT THE 49ERS.I f'ing HATE the bastards. And I live at ground 0. Not surprisingly, everybody seems to have now had time to locate their ugly-ass shiny gold jackets around town. Didn't see much of that the past decade. They were ugly in 1989 and they're still ugly now.I'm going to need a LOT of alcohol to make it through this particular SuperBro...

Rival = BAD.The Ravens and Steelers have been considered king(s) of the division for far too long now and I'm sick of it. I'm ready to see both of those teams fail, and fail hard. cincyhokie
Ravens just knocked off the 2 best teams in football on the road. In doing that, they beat Manning and Brady in back to back games. Now they have 2 weeks to prepare for the 49ers and Kaepernick. No team has had that much time to prepare for him this season. If they can beat Manning and Brady, they can outsmart Kaepernick. Ravens have WAY too much momentum going into this game.Ravens win this by AT LEAST 7 points. I'm ready to see both of those teams fail, and fail hard. They are. Age has caught up with both teams, especially on defense. Really, this whole playoff season has been something of a bookend to the last 12 or so years. The Brady and Manning magic has failed, while the Ravens try for one more ring before the old lions retire.

The Brady and Manning magic has failed, while the Ravens try for one more ring before the old lions retire.Good points. I think Brady has a few more years of elite play in him. Plus the Patriots have a much improved defense. I don't see them going away. Manning is running out of gas. If next season was his last, it would not suprise me. The Ravens lose Lewis, possibly Reed, and Matt Birk. If they win the SB, I wouldn't be suprised to see all 3 retire. This is why we WANT to see the Ravens win. Plus, with the SB win hangover, they won't be the determined bunch we've see the last few years.Add in the Steelers age and their salary cap hell...THIS could be the Bengals chance to step up for awhile. Sea Ray
My problem is with all the luck the Ravens needed to get here. They lucked out on that Broncos safety jumping into space on that hail mary and how 'bout the luck in converting a 4th and 29 on a dump pass?
