HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 I don't like the idea of facing Trent twice a year... Me neither, but fortunately Colt McCoy still sucks. They'll be like the Bengals in the Nineties when our whole offense was Corey Dillon. And in a couple years Richardson will be talking about flipping burgers. So how long before we hear the comparisons between Richardson and Jim Brown?Actually earlier today Jim Brown dismissed Richardson as "ordinary." It's on PFT somewhere.
membengal Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Jax only gave up a 4th round to move up to #5 overall. NOT a 4, 5, and 7 round.Overpay for Browns. Period.
HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Tampa and Jags tradeGood. Jags must want Blackmon. I would rather face that then see them add to their D 'cause Gabbert blows.
Kazkal Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 So how long before we hear the comparisons between Richardson and Jim Brown? Before the selection was made they Did >,<Buccaneers trade Down with Jags
bwillycuse Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 4th only to move up 2 places? Thats rather low.
Kazkal Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 What I find interesting was Claybourne was being written in for Buccaneers yet the talking heads said the Vikings didn't want him because they play in the tampa 2...Yet Tampa would who ask the same things of their CB's....Looking like Rams will get a very nice cornerback..
HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Dallas has traded up to #6! Wow.Must be after Claiborn...
volcom69 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 There goes Blackmon! As for Richardson i dont like them facing him either, esp with how the run defense played late last year. All i know is they better figure out a way to continue to stop the run all year long, otherwise Trent will run all over the bengals. So im hoping they either bolster up that d-line some more, or just find a way to stop the run the whole year.
kurgan74 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 My guess is Dallas wants Mark Barron or Claiborne
Kazkal Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Dallas Trades Up One less team to take Decasto ^.^ 1st & 2nd not too bad to go 6 from 14?
volcom69 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Dallas Trades Up One less team to take Decasto ^.^I will be suprised if the bengals take a guard early in this draft.
HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Recap of 1st 6.1 Indianapolis - Andrew Luck, QB2 Washington - Robert Griffin III, QB3 Cleveland - Trent Richardson, RB4 Minnesota - Matt Kalil, OT5 Jacksonville - Justin Blackmon, WR6 Dallas - Morris Claiborne, CBTB on the clock.
kurgan74 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Dallas only had to give up a second round pick only to jump 8 spots....wow, Cleveland got toasted.I am now concerned DeCastro will go to the Rams at 14.
kurgan74 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 As far as who the Bengals take at 17...my guess is Courtney Upshaw.

membengal Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 My dream of Mike Floyd probably died with the Stl trade down to 14 overall. That looks like a good spot for him to come off the board.

volcom69 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Kiper has LeMichael James as his best running back after Trent, im suprised by that. I wonder if James will actully go before Martin?
