ArmyBengal
Even if they didn't want Glenn at all in this particular draft, they would have been better off taking Wright at #17, leaving themselves one of the two CB's to take at #21. ShulaSteakhouse
I'm not sure how badly they need a CB in the 1st round, they have 5 of them on the roster, with maybe one or two that may fall-off the roster at some point, and a draft that's deep at CB I believe.Trading Rivers hopefully signals the motive to get a stud LB in the 1st, but I have not done my draft research yet. If there is one position that needs an impact player on this team, as I've been preaching, it's the LB position, not a DE/OLB hybrid, but a true 4-3 LB, and a Safety that can cover. While I would also not be opposed to another G/C, OT, CB, WR or DE - I think you have to use the two 1st rounders on those position groups, with LB, DB's and the o-line as priorities. There's no way this team can be a force in the playoffs, or even get there again, without an upgrade at LB, period, what they have is a bunch of bench/depth players starting for them, in a critical position group. DFlo
It would be hard to complain about that.Pretty good haul for you guys considering the choices. This draft is shaping up nicely for you guys in that there's a lot of mid-tier talent and having two picks in the middle of the first round should help you guys out a lot
