HoosierCat
Looks like he Bengals' first FA visit is set: CB Aaron Ross, formerly of the Giants.
volcom69
Only for Thursday though. Sounds like the bengals and Rucker are pretty far off.Looks like the redskins are taking all WR help lol

UK Bengal
Well they have to give RG3 some weapons don't they or could it be Luck
volcom69
What I don't get is they waited all day for their own free agents and it looks like all if not half will be visiting other teams makes no sense. If they want to keep there own then sign them, unless they all want outrages money which might be the case I guess!
HoosierCat
I don't think that includes the $1.6 million bump (teams can apply it this year or next). And per Schefty just now, the Bengals are indeed pushing it off to 2013, of course.
UK Bengal
Cincy among 5 teams that didn't take the bonus cap space from the was/dal penalty will get it in 2013 interesting indeed

HoosierCat
For those keeping score, Bengals among 3 teams in the hunt for Miami DE Kendall Langford (20 tackles, 0 sacks in 2011).
bwillycuse
Also, I think it says a lot when players are willing to restructure their contracts. Both Will Smith and Jahri Evans restructured their deals. With all of that and PRIOR to the Colston deal, the Saints weren't even 10 million under the cap.Hmmm...Restructuring benefits the player. They get the majority of their remaining contract up front as a bonus and their yearly salary goes down. Saving the team cap space somehow. So, the player isn't doing anything special or charitable. Just getting a guaranteed fat check now instead of later.

bwillycuse
Looks like the redskins are taking all WR help lolYup. Shefty says Morgan now done, Eddie Royal on deck. With the 36 million hit to the Redskins cap this year (can level off into next year) plus the money they are spending here (Garcon already turned a lot of money down in Indy). The draft picks they gave away for RG3. I don't know, looks like a train wreck waiting to happen. Kind of feel bad for RG3.

HoosierCat
Special to membengal: Grubbs visiting the Saints.Nicks' only suitor appears to be Tampa...
HoosierCat
I was never really thrilled with Garcon and Meachem is still one WR I would like them to bring in.Bad news: per nfl.com Meachem is in Buffalo where they are making it rain (offering Mario Williams $90+ million over 6 years). volcom69
Of course they are Williams is young and a game changer something this team needs bad! I still think the bengals could use somebody like him and he is still so young. Tired of the older guys getting 1 or 2 year contracts and at the end of there career! They just need some young guys that are vets who they can lock up for many years
HoosierCat
Tampa backs up the Brinks truck for Vincent Jackson: 5 years, $55.55 million, $26 million guaranteed.(Jerome Simpson still available -- cheap!)

HoosierCat
Further report: not a done deal yet but Bills "fully expect" to sign Mario, Meacham w/in next 24 hours.Translation: Mario, Meachem's agent waving big flag for other bidders. Bills may be getting played. Regardless I think 0% chance Bengals get involved.
volcom69
Finnigan now off the board going to the rams.Man I hope the bengals are not like last years bucs they had all that money but got nothing! Still hoping Bush comes in for a visit

membengal
I will say this. I admit to being curious what its like to be a fan of a team that comes out firing in free agency. Then again, the Steelers and Ravens don't really do that either, so I guess there's that.

It sucks being poor...
