Bye Week Blues

SO it's the bye week. I sit here getting ready for the games today and look through the games that are offered today. I think I'm looking forward to either watching Big Ben get his ass kicked or how about Steven Jackson? He needs 142 yards to be the all time yardage leader for the Rams. Then there Flacco who needs a hair over a hundred to become the passing leader for the Ravens, even though it's passing Boller, it's still an accomplishment non the less. Peyton Manning plays tonight and in the recent week some of the talking heads around the league have said he's lost a step and that age is catching up to him. Hmmm. 2 picks. The most yards? Should be a good matchup against the Skins.

So what game are you guys looking forward to with the Bengals sitting at home or on vacation, or taping yet another reality show, or f**k it, whatever they do to keep shooting themselves in the foot??

The games they're showing out here in Arizona today are Atlanta @ Philly, San Diego @ St. Louis, followed up by the Vikings @ Cowboys.

With Nascar out the picture too I may as well surf some milfy porn and rub one out. <_<

Is it just me, or does Pittsburgh seem weaker with Roethlisberger behind center?

They may have lost a bit of the urgency they had when he was out; that "we really have to play to make up for Ben being out" thing. Now with Toothlessberger back, it goes back to normal.

That's about what I thought.

Is it me or do Chiefs look pretty good this year. They kind of remind me of the Bengals of last, they run the ball good and play good defense. Except for they can throw it if need be.

Baltimore is just playing really good football right now.

Only good things about today is, i dont have to complain after the Bengals make mistake after mistake lol.

Game over! Ravens lose! :sure:

Yup. If both the Ravens and Steelers losing was the best way this weekend could go (even if it meant the Browns winning) I think this outcome -- Ravens and Browns lose, Steelers win -- was runner-up. Browns stay to our rear, Ravens, whom we've beaten once, don't gain, and even if the Steelers do keep going we've got two games against them to help even the score. Step one is taking it to the Falcons next week. :bengal:

Perhaps this is the start of the Christmas miracle that so many of you claimed was possible!

I feel my hope returning!

The patient isn't dead after all!

The Bengals are still alive!

So let's all raise a frothy glass and cheer on our merely mortally wounded heros!

Let the deathmarch on Atlanta go forth with renewed vigor and much gusto!

Huzzah!

I for one never claimed it would be possible. In fact I didn't think the Bengals would be in their present predicament at this point in the season. Before the season started I felt the games against the Browns and the Bucs could never had ended in losses as they did. We gave two away as I see it. A miracle will be needed to save this season.

I say it again, you simply can't lose the games you are expected to and more importantly NEED to win and think everything is going to be ok.

Chris Crocker seems to be the only one willing to acknowledge just how difficult it's going to be to make the playoffs this season.

Here's to hoping the miracle can happen for us all, because if you believe and I believe, it just might happen.

Then again, we might have to sit and watch this train wreck unfold for 11 more weeks.
