ArmyBengal Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 The Reds start a 3 game series at the Brewers today with Bailey taking the mound.I really am interested in seeing this team continue to play to the end. While I don't want to see injuries, go into the playoffs on an up note. The Cards play one game against the Marlins tonight before starting a 3 game series against the Pirates. It's sure is nice to say this, I don't care who the Cards play, they are done...GO REDS !!! Stripes Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Yeah, the Cards don't matter anymore. Fortunately they helped a bit in our race with San Diego. Quote

They played the game in a "race for the bus" manner Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 21, 2010 Author Report Posted September 21, 2010 Well, being honest, with the Reds just about having this thing wrapped and football season started up, I'm all of a sudden less concerned with the Reds right now. I think that interest will pick back up once the playoffs begin, but I haven't looked at much of anything Reds for a while now outside of starting the thread.GO REDS !!! Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 2-1 with reds coming up in the top of the 4th. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 S**t! I thought the Reds were off today. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 21, 2010 Author Report Posted September 21, 2010 Sorry Billy, I usually have the game thread up early, but ran out of time before the cutoff at work !!!I'll take one for the team. It's my fault. I should have blown off my job earlier and this wouldn't have been an issue. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Good news, St. Louis lost! Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Now, if the reds would just quit pissing away leadoff doubles... Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 THAT'S better. Votto 2 run homer. Reds 4-2. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Make that 5-2 as Rolen follows up with a solo blast. Quote
semiotter Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 S**t! I thought the Reds were off today. Untill now they looked like they were. LoL Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Who's MN?Magic Number. Quote
Sea Ray Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I'd sure like to see Dusty leave Chapman in to finish it off in the 9th. He had a real quick two batter inning. I don't see why he can't finish it off and chalk up another win. Quote
semiotter Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Oooooh Snap! Its Cordero. Time. Where's my tums? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Huh. Maybe Cordero has found his rhythm again. I sure hope so. Quote
