combatbengal
Flacco sucks! He is over throwing his WR's and taking a beating by the Jet's def. Jet's are getting a lot of penalties and helping the Ratbirds.
volcom69
Really i mean it looks like the Ravens defense is very tough. This game is going to be a tough one, bengals defense better get better or Flacco will find some wide open WR. Remember Jets defense is very good, and is making Flacco look horrible tonight. We will see the Bengals made Flacco look not so good so maybe then can do it again! combatbengal
After yesterdays performance, I'm sure that Zimmer will have our Def ready to stop the Ravens! Jets Def keeps getting penalties tonight. They are playing aggressive.
combatbengal
a lot of scrapping and fights tonight!!
volcom69
Thats what this team needs to play aggressive, without all those penalties. Also the defense needs to show some fire, i remember when J Joe was getting into fights with Hines Ward, things like that. I want an aggresive defense this weekend

combatbengal
Ratbirds win and I have to say I'm glad. Was so tired of hearing how great the Jets were and how they've already won the Super Bowl this year. Now we need to make their record the same as our record next week, 1-1!!!! Who Dey. Stripes
I'm feeling really good about this one. What a great opportunity for the Bengals defense to find itself this year. Flacco has no clue how to follow through a progression.I can't wait to see Palmer do to the Ravens what Sanchez could not. Jets WRs were open tonight. Sea Ray
Why couldn't we draw an opening game against a team like the Jets? They were horrible tonight...another team that was not prepared to start the season. I don't think I've ever seen so many penalties in one game. Did I hear correctly that they play the Patriots next week?

JoePong
You guys are serious homers. Last time we played the ravens at home, they shut us out for pretty much the final 3 quarters of the game. We couldn't do anything. And you think the ravens offense was bad, but that's because the jets D was so good. I don't expect the bengals D to give the same performance. Then, compare how the ravens shut down the jets compared to how the jets moved the ball at will against the bengals at the end of last year.Huge difference. I don't like our chances of being able to score next week. And I'm not sure how well the bengals will be able to stop baltimore's offense. Then again, i could be totally wrong. I mean, I actually predicted that the bengals defense would have no chance of stopping the Patriots' offense last week...Oh wait a minute...i was right about that... We all hope your wrong, but you might be right. I think if we played the Jets, and Ravens we would loose. Those defenses are just to much for this O-line, and more importantly, Carson, to handle.I hope we learn how to adjust. I hope Zimmer isn't letting that defense have a day off.BEAT BALTIMORE

Yeah, you mean the team that just kicked the jets ass on their home field, the team that many are predicting to make the superbowl, the team that destroyed the bengals twice at the end of last year. Thank goodness!

Thank goodness!-And Talking head are always correct? so the Jets must still be heading for the superbowl!-They Beat the snot out of the Jets?I'm Pretty Sure The Jets were beating the snot out of the Ravens but in the process killed them Self with Yellow Hankeys and a Terrible Quartback known as the Sanchize...if they had a Avg QB they would have won that game....Hell they may have been able to win with JTO playing QB. jjakq27
This is obviously a key game for the Bengals already.Division opponent. A win would draw them even, a loss would be a two game deficit. The pre-season expectations and discussions seemed to focus on this game more than the opener against the Patriots. This is a chance to prove that we belong in the discussion with the Ravens and Steelers and that last week was not the norm. Last time we played the ravens at home, they shut us out for pretty much the final 3 quarters of the game. We couldn't do anything.Aside from the most important thing, being that "last time" means absolutely nothing:We killed them in the first quarter! Thank goodness!I'm not saying "thank goodness" for playing the Ravens, but they certainly are a team that we've fared well against recently. When did they destroy us twice I must've missed that? I also think that NE is a better team than Baltimore right now, so I'm much more excited about playing them at home after getting our ass kicked in Foxboro. bwillycuse
Mike Greenburg said he thinks he just saw the best team in football yesterday.I watched a game that had 6 or so penalties for first down for Ravens. They couldn't run the ball. Averaged about 4 yards per play total.I know the Ravens are good but I didnt see the best team in football yesterday.Without the penalties they lose. The Bengals D just needs to be a lot more active. Fly to the ball...everyone.Didnt see that Sunday at all.

Sea Ray
As a Jets fan Greenberg knows his team played horribly yet the Ravens eeked out a one pt win. He ought to know better but ESPN has a manlove for a team like the Ravens, another large market east coast team. I don't know how good the Ravens are but I know they didn't look impressive last night
