I don't see why he wouldn't. Pujols won't get it if the Cardinals keep losing. If Colorado makes the playoffs Gonzalez will be hard to deny, but as of right now I see nobody as likely to get the votes as Votto.

I think something to consider is the number of games that the Reds have been in first place throughout the season. More than the Cards and Rockies. To me that should make a difference for Votto.

I also suspect there might be the sentiment that Pujols has won it before so let's give it to someone else.

In any event he is certainly deserving.
